Yes, by now, every KPop fan, old or new, no matter where you are, knows of the passing of Kim Jonghyun, leader and main vocal of ever-amazing KPop group SHINee, at the age of a very young 27 years.
To anyone who may have had technical difficulties in obtaining the relevant information,
Kim Jonghyun committed suicide today, on the 18th of December 2017, through carbon monoxide poisoning, by locking himself up in a room with a lit coal briquette and inhaling the fumes.
He was discover after his sister, who he had sent a farewell text message to, had alerted the police that her brother was about to kill himself.

Honestly, it's so short and so painful and it carries so much emotion and my chest hasn't stopped hurting since I heard the news.
He was found unconscious in his apartment, after having a cardiac arrest through inhaling too much carbon monoxide fumes.
He was rushed to the hospital and admitted to the ICU, where, after a massive struggle, the beautiful and kind and talented star who lit up so many hearts dimmed away.
When SM finally released their - admittedly cold and emotionless - statement on his passing, it was confirmed to the world that it was over.

I am not an avid Shawol myself, but I did know Jonghyun to an extent.
Kim Jonghyun was an externally and internally beautiful human being, with a heart of gold, and a ray of sunshine for a smile.
He spoke kind words and his actions were just as kind, and he sent words of support to anyone in peril.
He was a pillar of support for his band members, with whom he was brothers by all means, except biologically.
He was a fantastic brother and a loving son.
He was a talented vocalist, and a faithful and dedicated leader to his band.
