Farewell you beauty, have fun on the other side

Okay guys, this is the last chapter regarding Jonghyun, and I'm going to just say... good bye.

Yeah, that's right. My Wattpad-related works and mindset are moving on from this, and reverting back to what it used to be.

That said, it does not mean that I have moved on in my real life. Moving on usually takes very little time for me, but for some weird reason, I am genuinely affected by this so it WILL take me some time to get over it.

But I learnt something super valuable about moving on, from another Wattpad user, rishota.

"it's okay, it's okay if you want to move on, it's okay if you wanna grieve over it, it's okay. whatever choices you make is okay. so don't think it's disrespectful to get over it quickly. it affects everyone differently."

So yeah, moving on two or three days after someone's death isn't disrespectful. It doesn't make you heartless.
Similarly, grieving for a whole month or two since a sorrowful incident does not make you pathetic or "too sensitive". It means that you take some grievances to heart and you need time to adjust.

I've never actually been the second type of person, but now that I am, I kinda understand how hard it is get over something.

But don't worry, my Wattpad profile isn't going to remain a grieving and saddening mess. I'll be back to updating normal tags and rants and stuff soon enough.

For anyone having a tough time trying to look at SHINee pictures and photos because Jonghyun is there, I did find this little coping mechanism online, which I've been trying for a day or two.

DISCLAIMER: I'm not sure whether this will work for everyone, or it will even work for me. But it's a beautiful thought you know.

Whenever you look at any future pictures that SHINee may post, imagine a faded image of Jonghyun in the photo with the other boys. Imagine him there, smiling as brightly as ever, back with Onew, Taemin, Key, and Minho.

Or alternatively, if imagining him there is too painful, imagine the blue moon (or the light of the blue moon) in the background.

I don't know. It's just a suggestion that one of my followers on Twitter, which I thought was a nice idea. (She had used the picture below as a visualizing example)

Also, apparently there is an unreleased album by Jonghyun, which if approved by his family to be officially released, I am going to download (when I get WiFi) listen to the crap out of.

So anyway, as I said in my morning update, Jonghyun has reached heaven and messed up the natural dynamics of astrology and is probably being the smol bundle of joy he always is.

He's probably the most glowing angel up there (but his instrument of choice isn't a harp. It's a kazoo. Duh.), and he's probably looking down on all that he loved in his time with us.

To all KPop fans - or actually fans of anyone - next time you see your idols or get a chance to meet, in honour of Jonghyun, don't just spend the entire time screaming their name and asking them about dating and other random silly stuff.

Tell them they do well.

Tell them you appreciate them - and not just about their looks or their aegyo, but because of their hard work and the masterpieces that hard work has created.

Tell them they've done well, do well, and can and will do well.

You never know how much difference these words might make for them.

To Jonghyun, I just wanna say, I hope you're having a great time up there, and I hope that you're free from whatever pain you were trying to escape.

Goodbye Jonghyun, I may have not known as much about you as I would have liked, but I did care about you from what I had known about you - more as a good person than as an idol TBH . And you are certainly an unforgettably wonderful and talented person, and I will most likely remember and miss you for the rest of my life.
