A Dare To Love

And It Only Took Lost To Find It

Hey guys!  Here is the next chapter, sorry it is going to be short but I have a fancy party to get ready for and some of you insist on inboxing me to update.  Also it may not be my best since some of you rushed me, but here you go!

Niall's Pov

I turned around to see if she was still behind me.  Anger rushed through my blood.  How could she do that to me?  I come in to check on her and she is making-out with Harry!  She told me she loved me.  After a while of walking through the woods I calmed down.  I mean, I'm sure she didnt really mean it.  And she did have to make everyone else think we werent dating, and by kissing Harry that would prove it.  I started to walk backwards the way I came, by Scarlett wasnt there?  Oh, no.  She is lost!  And its all my fault!  Guilt spilled over me as I realised how bad this really was.

I ran in all different directions trying to find her and calling her name, but no reply.  God, damnit Niall, See what you do?  What I do?  Yes what you do!  No, you got us into this mess!  No, you did!  No, you did! No!  Yes!  No!  Yes!  No!  Niall, shut up!  I really need to stop fighting with myself.  I had to slow down and take a break from running.  Now, I am hungry, lost and alone.  I wasnt watching my step and tripped on a rock and down a hill side.  When I finally stopped rolling I had hurt my ankle.  I got up and limped around.  I heard someone or thing near me.  I tensed up and began to breath faster.  Then something pinned me against a tree.  Someone shot a sharp branch that caught my shirt and pinned me to the tree.  Three more flew at me, securing me to the tree I trembled as I saw a shadow move across the grass.  A woman stepped out, she looked completely bonkers and had sharp objects.  Not a good combanation.  Just as she neared me another girl fell from my tree tackled her to the ground.  I looked closely at her, Scarlett?  What a crazy, messed up world we live in.

"Niall, you have to listen to me!" she yelled, while fighting.

"okay!" I nodded my head violently.

"Niall, throw me the branches holding you there!" she yelled

"but I might hit you"

"just trust me!"

"okay" I said and struggled to get one loose.  I threw it at her and hoped it wouldnt hurt her.  Luckily she caught it and used it to pin down the woman.   Then the woman kicked  her off her and got her self off the ground.  She started throwing sharp things at her.  Oh god!  The woman got Scarlett pinned down under her, but Scarlett kicked her off.  The woman had a hold on her shirt and it ripped off.  After an interesting battle Scarlett had her pinned down

"Niall, she will be free soon, you have to run" she urged.  She grabbed afew of the sharpened branches and we started running.  After running at least a mile we finally stopped.

"why did you save me?" I asked, so confused.  I had just walked out on her, yet she risked her life for me.

"because, you have been there when I needed you.  So, I was thre when you needed me." she replied.

"yeah, but you could have died."

"yes, but I would have died knowing that I was saving you."

"never do that again please?"

"Niall, when I decided to save you.  I wasnt thinking.  Something took over me completely and made me.  I have no idea where that came from.  But, I cant promise you that."

"wait, so you didnt want to save me?" tears wheled in my eyes.

"I did, but all I'm saying is that something took over me and I cant control whatever it was"

"so, you did want to save me?"

"always" she replied.  It sent chills up my spine.

"why were you so upset earlier?" I asked.  I never found out.

"I was upset because,  because.  Uh, I wish I could tell you so badly right now" she sighed and nestled he head in the crook of my shoulder.

"you can, babe"

"no, I cant.  But, eventually you will know.  And when you do, I ask for you to say you will forgive me right now" she said, with tears in her eyes.  I swallowed hard and nodded, what ever it is we can get through it.

"you didnt sleep with Harry, did you?" I asked worried. 

"no!" she answeredd.  I felt relieved.  Then she continued "so you will forgive me?"

"yes" I whispered in her ear.  We leaned against the big tree behind us and cuddled together.  It was starting to get cold and the sun would set soon. 

"the others are probably worried you know" she said.

"yeah, but lets enjoy this time alone, we dont get very much with Liam always arounf us" I laughed.  She giggled too and I pulled her in closer to me.  We watched the sunset and complained about how hungry we were.  At least I am lost in the woods with her.  She understands my complaining about food!  After a while we found some berries, and identefied them as bluebarries.  I hate eating healthy but what choice do I have?  She proped me up on her shoulder, trying to to worsen my ankle. 

We settled down near the biggest tree in the forest and snuggled up together.  In this moment something fel tright again.  I forgot about the world, the band, the ,fans, everything but Scarlett who looked right back at me.

"i love you" I whispered to her.

"I love you too" she whispered back and we drifted out to sleep. leaning on eachother and finger intertwined.  I found that love I thought I lost today.  And it only took getting lost to find it again
