My phone rang beside me on the table I was about to fall back asleep until it started ringing again. "Ughhh if this is Angel" I said to myself Winter was snuggled up next to me I guessed Alex went to work.

My phone stopped ringing so it gave me time to overlook yesterday's events. I don't know why but I thought about what Alex said about marriage. Was he planning to propose? I at least wanted to wait a year before getting married it  seemed like a sensible idea. Then my thoughts wondered to the bathroom bitch. I rolled my eyes at the thought of her I knew Alex was at work he need to catch up I decided to get in the shower.

I was in the kitchen making pancakes and dropping the scraps feeding them to my beloved puppy when the doorknob rattled violently. I grabbed my gun that was in the drawer.

What if it's Katie?

I cocked my gun and headed towards the door looking out the peephole.

It was Angel.

I blew out a deep breath and opened the door she looked at the gun "Wow if you didn't want company you should have told me" she said walking past me and petting Winter who was also curious about the person at the door.

I closed the door locking it then put my gun down. And going back to the kitchen to flip the pancakes.

"Even if I said I'm not up for company you would have came away" I said.

"You know it" She replied.

"Wait who answers their door in there underwear.  I looked down to see my blue matching underwear "I looked through the peephole first" I said defensively.

"Plus it got hot" I stated.

"So how are you doing and don't say fine because you're definitely not the type to let go of what happened at that office get together" she said taking a apple out of the fruit basket that was on the table and eating it.

"I don't care about her" I lied putting the done pancake on the plate and passing it to angel.

"Liar"

"I'm not lying!" I groaned washing the dishes.

"Yeah because you don't care if Alex has a sexy new assistant that wants to fuck his brains ou-"

"Shut up don't say it" I warned her.

She laughed.

"Don't say what? That Alex has a sexy-" she didn't get to finish her sentence not before I ran upstairs and changed into a grey sweater dress then pulled my hair into a ponytail. "Where are you going?" Angel asked when I came back downstairs. I didn't answer her instead I grabbed my keys off the table  "lock the door when you leave and don't eat up all my food" I said grabbing my jacket and closing the door.

I walked out the elevator going to Alex's office. The receptionist glanced at me his eyes got wild once he saw me going towards Alex's office "No no no miss you can't-" He sat up.

I stopped walking "I'm his girlfriend you were at the party I'm Rose Winter" I said givinghim a small smile he simply nodded then sat back down relaxing. I opened the door to his office and he was in the middle of talking to his assistant I didn't miss how she sat on the desk her black skirt rode up. Alex looked surprised to see me "Hey baby what are you doing here?" He said confused.

"I decided to bring you breakfast since you left the house early" I lied giving him his coffee and his donut. "Awww that's so sweet but Amanda already got me some breakfast" He said giving me a peck on the cheek."Amanda you remember Rose my girlfriend?" He said.

"Oh yes I remember hello Rose" She said glaring at me.

"Why are you on the desk there's two perfectly working chairs right there?" I questioned pointing to the chairs in front of Alex's desk.

She sat up and fixed her skirt "I couldn't hear him" she lied.

I sat on Alex's lap and smiled at her to show Amanda I wasn't going anywhere.

"Getting old already huh?" I half joked laughing.

"Rose" I heard Alex say but I ignored him.

"Not as old as you" she mumbled.

The bitch is older than you!

"You should get a new skirt...that one is short" I pointed out.

"Rose" He repeated.

She huffed "It's not short"

"Oh then your just fat" I shot back.

"ROSE!" Alex's voice boomed making us both jump I didn't want to see his face but he gripped my chin turning my face to his at first I thought he was going to kiss me....boy was I wrong he was glaring at me. I opened my mouth to say something but he spoke before me "Don't even try it" He warned.

Silence was in the air it clouded everything.

"Well I have to talk to you about something" I blurted out to Alex.

"I know we do Amanda can you just reschedule that meeting please" He asked.

"Sure" she said typing away on a tablet.

"I'll call you if you need anything" Alex said.

"Oh....ok" she said awkwardly leaving out mumbling something that probably would have gotten her fired.

"I like you when your jealous it's adorable" He said squeezing my ass.

"I'm not jealous I just didn't want my lovely boyfriend to starve" I said smiling at him.

"Ok what did you want to talk to me about?" He asked.

"Oh...ummm when are you coming home?" I asked.

"You came all the way over here to ask me something you could've said on the phone?" He raised his eyebrow.

I rolled my eyes getting up "I'll be going only because I left Angel in our house and she's eating our food" I said.

"Oh yeah Eric said he might come over" Alex said.

I paused.

I haven't seen him in 3 months he needed to grieve over Misty he calla Alex occasionally but I secretly miss our hot coffee and movies at night though.

"Ok" I said opening the door "love you " I closed the door and stood outside hid office for about 3 seconds before I opened the door back up.

"And that bitch better not sit on this desk again or I'll tell her that we fucked on it" I warned.

"Not yet" He said winking.

I walked out LA Plush and the cold air hit me I sighed then I swore I saw blonde hair whipping as a lady got in a cab in a hurry.
