I sat Richard down on my bed. Richard looked at me with worry, because he has never seen me with such seriousness. I sat down next to him, and began to tell him about the run in with the girls. I watched Richard's face go into a frown the more I tell him about launch. I became scared on how he will react when I'm done talking. Will he break up with me? Will he hate me? These were the thoughts that kept moving in circles around my head. Finally I was done talking. There was a long silence, and I started to freak. He does hate me, he will break up with me? No, I can't lose him, I thought.

"So Fredrick set you up.", he finally said. I didn't know if it was a statement or a question. Richard looked into my eyes as I stared into his.

"Are you mad at me?", I asked.

"No, I'm not mad at you. I'm mad at Fredrick for setting you up. It's not your fault, so don't cry.", he told me. I didn't realize I was going to cry until he said something. He words cheered me up a bit, but I still had no clue what to do and was still down.

"So what am I to do?", I asked him quizzically.

"You're going to have to go out with Lucy on Friday night, but you don't have to go out with her any time after that." I grumbled when he said I still had to go out with Lucy, but perked up when he told me I don't have to hang with her after Friday. I kissed him, showing my happiness for the help. He kissed back.

"If you end up having to date her, it will be okay by me. I will still not let you go even if you are dating someone else.", he told me after we broke apart.

"Same with me. Except without Lucy involved. I love you Richard." I hugged him when I said I loved him.

"I love you too. Can I ask you something?"

"You already did, but sure.", I replied giggling a little. I watched Richard as he got up off the bed, and on one knee. I was surprised by this movement he made. I wasn't used to it.

"Marshal, will you marry me?" I was taken back a little, but soon recovered. I through myself on top of him, and kissed him deeply. Richard put his arms around my waist as I put my arms around his neck. I was absolutely happy. In fact I was enthusiastic. I asked him when we would get married, and he told me after we graduate. I started to feel bad for Lucy, but I wasn't really that sorry. My friends tried to help me to late. I had to go out with Lucy in two more days, but I was going to enjoy my fiancé's presence for now.

For the rest of the day we were talking about the gang, what we would do tomorrow, and started making wedding plans. It became dark when my parents came home, and they were okay with Richard spending the night if he wants to. His folks were over seize, so he chose to spend the night at my house. We couldn't get really cozy, since my parents were home, but that was ok. After we graduate, we were going to have a lot of time to be cozy with each other. It's a good thing that my parents were okay with me and Richard sharing a bed.

Dinner that night was delicious like always. My mom does the baking, my dad cleans the dishes after dinner, and I put the dishes away. Yeah, I had responsibilities too. It was just how our family works. It was ok. At least I didn't have to put my cloths away. My mom told me that was my choice. So as a result, I don't put my cloths away. She doesn't really complain about things much. My parents also have no clue that I'm gay, and am dating a boy. Namely Richard.

Before Richard and I fell asleep, we talked about what I would do Friday night. Richard told me that I was forbidden to get close with Lucy. I couldn't blame him for him to want me not get close with her. I didn't want to get close with her either. He requested that I were my normal outfit, and not wear anything too fancy. I agreed to this as wale. We soon fell asleep to him telling me what to do, and what not to do.
