I turned around to see Lucy standing sixteen feet away from Richard and I. I already saw her this morning, and now I saw her again. I told Richard I would be back in a few minutes. I headed to the men's restroom to hide for a couple of minutes.

I waited in there for four minutes before deciding to go back to Richard. I peeked around the corner just in case Lucy was still in the gallery. Turns out she was still there. She was talking to Richard. I hope she isn't trying any of her tricks. I caught a few words of their conversation.

"Princess just left a few minutes ago."

"Oh really? Would you like me to keep you company until she gets back?" Lucy was looking at him seductively. I could feel the temperature rising in my body just looking at her. I was furious that she was flirting with him.

"No thank you. I would rather you leave me alone.", Richard told her blankly.

"Oh, all right. *fake sniff* I'll just be all by my lonesome. *another fake sniff*" Richard stared off into a different direction with a vacant look on his face. I heard Lucy huff in frustration. That was another boy she wasn't able to get. I stepped back a few paces, so it didn't look like I was standing there eavesdropping. It was an accident that I over heard. Really. So instead I made it look like I was just coming to the gallery.

"Marshal. I didn't know you were here."

"Hi Lucy. I didn't notice you either until you said something." I put on a fake smile.

"Maybe that's because I just came out of that gallery. Painters these days have no inspiration at all. It is all terrible."

"Well I just got to this gallery, and I'll have you know that there is an artist who has great inspiration. And their art work is in that gallery."

  "Who?"

  "Richard Nole."

"He has the least bit of inspiration."

"He's standing in that room now."

"How do you know that?"

"I'm looking right at him, and he's looking right back at me." This got her attention. She looked over at Richard and went pale. She had no idea that he could hear us. She saw him looking at us with disappointment. Lucy turned and walked away with her head down. I walked over to Richard.

"She has no idea what she is talking about. You have great inspiration, so don't get discouraged by one critic."

"I'm not upset by that. I'm upset because you were talking to her and she was flirting with me." Richard stuck out his tongue in disgust. I let out a small laugh. It was cute when he stuck out his tongue. It made him look like a little kid.

"Oh, okay. Well I was just trying to get through to her that not every artist is terrible, and that you are a great artist." Richard smiled at this. I went over to one of his sculptors to look at it. The sculptor I was looking at where a couple standing on a round platform. I wonder how Richard was able to make this. I looked closer, and could see every detail. It looked like two people were frozen into marble statues.

"What gave you inspiration to create this, Richard?"

"The two of us. It pained me two create the sculptor of a straight couple, since I'm gay and all. But I managed."

"It looks great. You can really see all the details. Even the love they have for each other in their expressions."

"Thanks." I looked up at Richard and saw him blushing a little. I looked at the sculptor next to the couple. This one was one person looking longingly in the distance. Almost as if waiting for someone who will never come. I started to feel bad for the sculptor. Then I realized it was only a statue. It was made out of granite. Interesting. I wonder how Richard had the patience to sculpt this. It might have been because he is an artist, and I'm just doing whatever comes to mind. Who knows.

We then moved over to look at some paintings. My eyes instantly looked over to Richard's paintings. One of the paintings was of an island. The sun was coming over the horizon. The sky was a mixture of red, orange, and yellow. The water around the island gleamed under the sun rays. The moon was still up. It looked peaceful and calm. Calm after a rainstorm, and peaceful like a child sleeping. It was beautiful. I felt like I was actually on the island watching the sun rise. Richard was just good that way. Well that's what I think.

I looked at the second painting. This one was a couple in a restaurant. It must have pained Richard to paint a straight couple. But I guess that is okay. I could see the love in the eyes of the couple, and the need for they had for each other. It felt entrancing. I then turned my head to the last painting. This one had a dark forest. It gave me a dreary and creeped out feeling. I also felt entranced, to want to go into the forest. I knew I couldn't because it was only a painting, but still.

I felt Richard's hand on my shoulder, snapping me out of my thoughts. He brought me back to reality. I turned around to face him. He pointed to the exit, and caught on to what he was trying to say. He wanted to leave know. I nodded my head, and went out the door, walking into the bright sunshine. In two more days I had to go back to school. On a Wednesday. I didn't want to go back to school. I could here a quite groan escape my mouth. I went back to Richard's house, and asked my parents if it was okay if I stayed one more night with him. They said yeah, so I stayed at Richard's, and fixed dinner again. That's all I have to say for now.
