This is overdue and I was asked to add it. Unitedman 101 helped give me ideas for this part.

Richard's POV

I was walking through the halls when I came across a group of socs beating up a greaser. It wasn't just any greaser though. It was my best friend and crush, Marshal. I find that Marshal is really handsome with his blueish green eyes, small nose, nice build and shoulder length curly brown hair. He was absolutely handsome. But back to the present. I wonder if the socs are beating Marshal up because he had broken up with Lily four months ago. I should go over and help him.

"Hey! What's going on over here?", I asked the group. I watched as Marshal lifted his head at the sound of my voice. He looked relieved to see me.

"Nothing you need to worry about, greaser.", one of the socs spit out like it leaves a disgusting taste in his mouth.

"Actually, I do need to worry about it since that's my friend your beating up.", I replied, puffing my chest out and trying to look and sound intimidating. The socs just scuffed, but they didn't go to move away. I balled my fists ready to punch their faces in.

"Oh, is someone getting gutsy now", another one of the socs mocked once he saw that I balled my fists. I kept a calm face as I threw a punch at one of the socs. He stumbled backwards from the force of the punch. His hand was holding his nose, and I saw that some blood was dripping between his fingers. I'm going to be honest, seeing him bleed made me smile. He deserves what he got, just like the rest of them will. The other four balled their fists, and got into a fighting pose in front of the wounded soc.

"You got some nerve hitting one of us. You don't even deserve to be in our presence.", one of the socs said like what he said was really going to hurt my feelings. I mean c'mon, I'm only for here because they were beating up my friend.

"I don't even want to be in your presence.", I told them with a scoff while crossing my arms across my chest.

"You must want to get your ass beat."

"Yeah, sure, why not?", I said nonchalantly. The socs gritted their teeth and rushed at me. I dodged all of their attacks and landed a few of my own. I punched one guy in the dick, one in the one, another on the side the head, the forth in their nose, and the last one in the stomach. They were all holding were I hit them while glaring hatefully at me.

"You'll pay for this, greaser. We have to go to the nurse's office now, but we will be back.", the first wounded soc said. His nose was still bleeding. I went to were Marshal was still sitting on the floor.

"You ok Marshal?", I asked him while helping him stand.

"Yeah, I'll be fine. There'll just be a few bruises, but nothing severe. Thanks for stopping the socs by the way.", he replied.

"No problem, that's what friends do. But why were the socs beating you up?"

"They found out I broke up with Lily, and they thought she was a soc. So they beat me up because I broke a soc's heart. They're just a bunch of idiots, but it's not really a surprise. Lily does look like a soc." I nodded my head in agreement.

"Why did you break up with Lily?"

"I only love her like a sister and didn't want to continue leading her on. I also found out I'm not into girls."

"Really?" I tried to keep the happiness out of my voice in case he might be asexual.

"Yeah. I realized that I'm gay, and I've had a crush on this one guy for a month now.", Marshal told me nonchalantly while swinging his arms freely.

"Who's this guy you like?"

"It's you silly.", Marshal chuckled. He must have heard the disappointment I was trying to keep out of my voice.

"Seriously!?", I said wide eyed.

"Yes. I love you silly. More than friends. Will you be mine?"

"You bet, but we can't tell anyone."

"I know." Marshal leaned over and gave me a peck on the cheek, then ran away laughing. I chased him all over the school grounds until we ran into our friends. That had to of been the happiest day of my life.

The rest of the book will be in Marshal's point of view.
