I got help from unitedman101 again

For the next two weeks that Richard was in jail, I was watching on what was going on down in Tulsa. One day there was a big fight happening there and cops had to come and disperse everyone. No one went to jail, but they all got into trouble too. On the second day the gays were parading down the streets of Tulsa with sings saying "Gay is okay", "Learn to live around with Gays", "Gays are human too", and other phrases like that. The people who were straight were saying everything that was bad about gays that they could come up with. Being gay myself, I was offended by the straights, and was proud of the gays. There would be fights here and there, and then more gays parading around Tulsa saying wonderful things about gays. I would inform Richard about what is happening in the outside world, so he would be well informed when he got discharged. Richard was aloud one call a day, so that's how I was able to inform him.

Sometimes Jack would come over to my house and talk to me. He came over when it was close to dusk, and when my parents aren't home. I feel like he may end up coming over again today in a few hours.

Two more days and Richard will be free, I thought to myself. Your doing okay Marshal, you haven't gone completely mad yet. I sighed quietly. I feel like I've already gone mad with loneliness. I know that I have my parents, the gang, and Jack, but they aren't the same as Richard. Their company isn't like Richard's.

"Is anyone home?", a familiar voice said while knocking on the outside door. The person snapped me out of my thoughts. I looked out the window to see Jack standing out the door. The sun was still up and not even close to dusk. Boy he's early. I opened the door for Jack to come in.

"Hey Jack. What are you doing here at this time of hour?"

"Checking on you. I noticed your parents aren't home, and I felt like coming at this hour. You weren't doing anything, and I'm not doing anything."

"What if I was planning on doing something with my gang members?", I asked suspiciously. I know what his answer would be since I asked him that question every time he came here.

"Not to be creepy or anything, but I'm always watching and listening. I see something in you kid. That's the only reason why I come here."

"And what is that something?" I arched my eyebrow trying to give more effect. He said more than he usually does. This is the first time that he's mentioned that he has seen "something" in me.

"I don't know what it is exactly, but it's there. One day I'll find out. Maybe." I looked him up and down. Making sure that my expression said that I really don't believe a word he is saying. I truly don't believe what he was saying, so it wasn't hard to give him the expression.

"I know you may not believe me, since I may still seem like a stranger. I understand how you feel. But you didn't plan anything with your gang so I came over. Actually, why did I come over again?" Jack tapped his chin with his finger thoughtfully. His eyes were mixed with mischief and thoughtfulness. I was starting to get curious as to why he came here too. Usually he came here to see how well I was holding up from Richard being in jail.

"Ah ha" Jack snapped his fingers, clearly remembering what he had forgotten. "I came here to tell you that I got everything ready for your trip to Tulsa. Everything is ready for your friends, and for you and your fiancé. He is getting out in two day right?"

"Yeah, and how did you get everything ready so fast?"

"I have my ways. I hope you have a good time down in Tulsa. I think I should get going now." Jack turned to leave, but I grabbed a hold of his arm keeping him from going. Jack looked at me curiously.

"Why did you go through all the trouble of getting everything ready for us?", I asked him.

"Because I felt like I should do you the favor, since I've been watching you and your groups movements for a few years." I did my best to keep myself saying "creep".

"Thank you for getting the trip ready, but-"

"How did I know if your gang was going or not?", Jack interrupted. "Because-"

"Let me guess. Your always watching and listening.", I interrupted. Jack nodded his head, telling me that I was correct. I lifted my head up, but kept my eyes on him. So it looked like I was looking down with my head tilted to the ceiling.

"Now I must go. Bye Marshal, I'll see you in Tulsa." Jack waved good bye as he walked out the door.

"Wait! Aren't you coming back tomorrow?", I asked but it was too late, he had already vanished out of sight. I closed the door, and turned around to go call Richard. I wanted to hear how he was doing and inform him of the outside world. It would be nice to hear his voice again. I sighed feeling lonelier than ever. Maybe Richard will have good news. Maybe he will get out earlier than planned. I perked up at my own thought. I hope Richard could be released today. I always had those thoughts everyday I would go to talk to him. The only hope I had was what was on my mind. I needed to stay positive, or I would go insane. Just thinking about it all now, it makes me realize that overreacting. People have been in jail longer than Richard, and I'm already losing my mind. I need to stop. I just need to breath in and out, and not think about anything for a long tine. Then I will be better.

Sorry I haven't updated for a while. I've been busy with school, homework, church related events, dancing, and spending time with my family by watching movies and swimming with them. (The movies actually helped give me inspiration though.) Hopefully I will be able to update soon since now I'm on spring break, but who knows. I also hope you are enjoying the story. The anime girl the top is an idea of what Jack looks like. Except that Jack is more muscular than the girl.
