(Selena's POV)
"Hey mom." I walked downstairs that night.
"Hey sweety." She smiled at me. "uhm.. so. I was wondering.." I drifted !ff, nt knowing how to say it. "if I wanted to move to my own-"
"Am I doing something wrong? Do I cook bad?" My mom asked. "no! heavens no! I just... I want to try on my own." I lied.
"Oh..okay.." she shrugged. "yeah, as long as you visited me sometimes.. " she said plainly and sat on the couch.
Wow. surprising.
"R-really?" I asked excitedly. "well, I have a problem..." I sighed. "you need money, and that's the only thing I'll give you." She said firmly. "Yes! Thank you mom!" I hugged her tight.
Just then my phone vibrated in my back pocket.
I checked my phone to see 3 new messages.
Demi: Omg, you're such an idiot. Lol.
Unknown Number: You're a big slut. Lmfao.
Nick: You're so ugly, idk why I ever dated you. lol. Bitch.
My eyes watered. what did I do? why did everyone hate me all the sudden?
A tear slid down my cheek as I put my phone harshly in my pocket.
I quickly wiped my tears, not wanting my mom to question.
"When do you want to go?" she asked. I had had enough for now. "tomorrow." I ran my hands through my hair. "tomorr-"
"Yes. tomorrow. tomorrow evening." I stood tall and strong. I couldn't even wait! "Can you make your spaghetti? In too lazy to cook tonight." she chuckled.
This is where I get my laziness from.
"Okay," I laughed at her and made my spaghetti.

The next morning I awoke. this afternoon was when I left, off to Miami to start my new life. I couldn't wait!
I jumped out if my bed and ran downstairs to smell bacon and pancakes. "morning mom!" I smiled and kissed her cheek.
"So you leave today, where ya going?" She asked.
Oh fuck.
"Miami.." I blurted out.
"Oh, that's nice. it's real sunny there."
How does she not care? I sighed mentally and ate quickly.
How was I. Going to pass time? I definitely wasn't going to school. that was a huge no.
"Could I just leave now?" my mind spoke out loud.
"I don't care. it's fine." she shrugged. I jumped up excitedly, throwing my paper plate away.
I ran upstairs, going off to pack my things.

"Bye hunny! call me when you get there!" my mom kissed my cheek. "I will mom." I smiled and started driving off.
Here I come Miami. :)
