(Selena's POV)
I couldn't believe the stuff that guy said that Justin did. Apparently Justin has been to jail twice, almost killed a man with a letter opener, and the sad thing is that he killed his parents.
That's what I was told at least. And I believe it! Justin seems like a very dark and cold hearted man.
"Selena!" I heard just whine from upstairs. I'm not going up there, he'll kill me too!
(Justin's POV)
I need to know why Selena's been acting like this. it really pissed me off, especially sense I have that book to give to her and that I figured out that I kinda like her.
See what happens when something good happens to me and I'm finally happy? This. This shit right here. The person that makes me happy all of the sudden hates my guts.. It always happens. That's why I never let people get to the real me because then I know something bad will happen...
When Selena never answered, I got up from my bed and started my way down the steps. If she wouldn't come to me, I'd have to go to her.
"Selena.." I sighed and saw her sitting on the couch with her face in her hands. She quickly looked up and her eyes filled with fear. I gave her a confused look and shook my head. "Whats wrong? You look like you just saw a damn ghost Sel." I said as I sat beside her. she stood up quickly and starting walking to her room. I rolled my eyes and picked her up and made her face me.
"What's wrong? that's all I want to know. Please.." I said, looking in her eyes that were still filled with fear. "Are you gonna kill me?" she blurted out.
What the fuck?
"What? Sel, where did you get that idea? Selena, I would never do that. I've never even thought about killing a person. Ever." I shook my head and sat her on the couch. "Then what happen to your parents? And the guy you almost killed with a letter opener and-"
"What are you talking about? My parents didn't want me Sel.. My dad used to beat me and my mom didn't do shit about it. That's where the cuts are from. Every scar on me is from when I lived with my parents. I finally got the balls to run away." I explained.
Fuck.
