(Selena's POV)
I woke up the next morning in my room, but Justin wasn't there. the first thing I did was check my phone, just the lock screen though.
Unknown Number: Better watch out, your boy is out and about. (2h ago)
Did I have a fucking stalker or something? It's the same number each time and I never recognized it. Right under that was a message from Justin.
Justin: Baby, I got a surprise for tonight. ;) (3h ago)
I decided I'd hang with my mom and Pattie while Justin was gone. I didn't know where he was though.
"Usually wake up this late ,sleeping beauty?" Pattie asked with a laugh. I checked the clock, seeing it was 12:00pm.
I sat on the couch next to mom and Pattie soon came in too, sitting beside me. I was in the middle.
"Do you guys know where Justin went?" I asked as we all sat on the couch watching tv.
"Oh, he said he was getting you something."
I sighed, "that's what he told me too." I said.
"It's okay," my mom said, rubbing my shoulder. "You guys are gonna go to dinner later and it's all going to be fine. It'll be great, in sure he's taking you someone special." My mom added.
"Maybe he'll propose!" Pattie squealed.
I shook my head "No, that's not Justin." I replied.
"What do you mean?" Pattie asked.
"He loves you right?" My mom asked.
"Well.. yeah, but I don't think Justin is the type of guy that would marry a girl.. I just don't see that happening . " I said.
"So why are you in this relationship if it isn't gonna go anywhere Selena?" My mom said with a sigh. I looked down as I played with my fingers. She did have a point.
I mean, it's not that im saying I wanna get married or anything like that. id just like to know that it might happen, instead of just straight up denying it won't happen.
Justin is a wonderful guy and I love him, I really do.. but what about the future? How do I know we even have one? It has never to my attention that we might not have one. a future. Our own house, married, with kids? It just doesn't sound like Justin. and if that's what I want (marriage, kids and our own house) than I cant count on him for that can I?
I'm i saying what I think I'm saying?
"I love him," I paused.
"But I don't know."
