Twenty-Five
(Justin's POV)
I went downstairs after Selena and found her sitting at the table with my mom and Mandy.
"Justin! Come sit, we made breakfast."
I nodded and sat next to Selena on one side of the table. I looked over at her and just thought. I loved her. I did, really I did. her chocolate eyes, her hair, and her gorgeous smile, her nose, and of course the way she laughed. I loved her laugh. I loved how she walked, how she slept, how she ate, everything.
"So Justin,"
I snapped out of my thoughts and gave my attention to Mandy.
"Yes ma'am?"
"Ooh, I like him already. Maybe more than Selena!" She said jokingly.
I laughed at her pretty bad joke, not because it was funny- but because it was the nice thing to do. I wasn't in the humor mood- most definitely not.
"So anyway- Justin,"
I raised both of my thick brows, showing her I was listening.
"Do you love my daughter?"
"Uh.. Do i... I love her? Uhm, well what do you mean?"
"Well, both ways really. Pleasuring and feeling. " Mandy said.
"I.. pleasu- I-i mean, I.. uhm.. lov-"
"Mom, that's not really a great question okay?." Selena answered. I looked at Selena and she was fiddling with her fingers.
"Oh." Mandy said.
Oh? What's "oh." mean?
"Mom," selena said after a slight silence. "Id like to uh... be excused please.. Justin too.." she finished, standing up. I looked up at her beautiful face. She looked a lot better without make up. really, she did.
Mandy and my mom nodded as I stood up beside Selena. I followed Selena as she walked up the stairs. we entered her room and she closed the door behind us.
"Justin," she started, and it didn't sound good. She took a deep breath and and looked in my eyes.
"I'm sorry." she said. "My mom- she- she wanted to make sure that when I loved I did it right." she said. her eyes were drowning in these tears- these tears that dared to fall.
She squeezed her eyes shut tightly, a couple of those daring tears finally falling. She sat down on her bed and I sat beside her.
"Selena?"
"Justin," she breathed out,her voice was weak, she was weak. "I didn't do it. i did it wrong. I didn't make love with you for the reason I should've."
"Selena." I said, sighing.
"I did it because I didn't want to be the innocent girl every knew me as. I.. im not happy Justin- I'm mad at myself for it. it was cruel." she said between sniffles.
"Hey, come here." I said, pulling her into my chest. she fell into my chest and she bawled. those daring tears got what they wanted, they finally escaped.
I felt shitty.
Real real shitty.
---
Selena and I were laying in her bed. She was cuddled into my bare chest and her hand rested on my cheek and the fingers of my right hand were playing with her long, brown, beautiful hair as I stated at the ceiling.
"Selena Marie?"
"Yes?"
"How would you feel about counting our second time as our first?" I asked. it was silence for a few seconds.
"What?" She asked, sitting up and putting all of her weight on her elbow that laid against the soft silk sheets.
"You know, Our second time making love? How would you feel about counting it as our first?" I explained, looking in those chocolate eyes of hers.
"I just want to make sure you can do it right for once. I want you to have it right, instead of.. well wanting to be un- innocent." I said.
I heard her giggle and her head fell on my bare chest again. she kissed it once and smiled against it. "I love you." she said.
