The Silver Shadow's Quest

Chapter 1- The Voyage

Many years later, to be exact 19 years later, there is no longer a city in the side of the snowy mountains, not even a single trace of it ever being there.

Meanwhile in the village, a man, who goes by Silver Shadow, is getting ready for a journey on a horse to a far away town. He is twenty years old. Also he wears silver armor, in the middle of his chest is a hidden pure white gem underneath the armor. His hair is black, he has blue eyes, black eyebrows and long black eyelashes, his skin is pure white, he has a face of a cruel man that has faded dark brown freckles on his cheeks, and lastly he is about five foot and nine inches. Lastly he wears a black hooded cape to hide his identity.

The durable leather backpack clinks, as he rides his horse to the City of Udodon, with all the items the Silver Shadow has collected from all of his quests.

He arrives at the City of Udodon. It is unseen by common folk for this city is hidden under a dome which makes it invisible to all except a few. A powerful spell keeps this city hidden from the dangerous outside world. Also the city folk,their leader, and everyone else inside remain inside unless some type of emergency is declared. A lush green forest surrounds the city, which is in the middle. The city is also underneath a dome that keeps them protected, but the domes are not seen by the bare eye of commonfolk. On top of that, the city and forest have technology from the 21st century. That is only inside the domes. Outside of domes the middle age continues.

Also currently there is no leader of this city. The city itself is not very big, but has houses that are one story high, the empty city leader's house which is a cabin a bit larger than the rest it sits in the center a few blocks away from the border between the forest and city. The houses are pucca houses that are various colors. There is a college and potion/medical hut. In the center of this city, there is a eight foot tall fountain that is majestic. Under all the buildings and fountain there is polished white marble layed out. Hidden on the east side of this city, deep within the forest is a beautiful waterfall that has all shades of blue, and behind this waterfall there is a cave.

The Silver Shadow arrives at the City of Udodon just as the sunrises. There is fog everywhere in the forest, creating a mystical look. He rides on his horse through the forest. After ten minutes he arrives at a dark grey building that is surrounded by black spiked gate. Flightfire, the Silver Shadow's horse, hooves slowly walks on the foggy cobblestone path that lead to the building. Clank,Clank,Clank. Flightfire stops a few yards from the entrance. The Silver Shadow jumps down, clank goes his backpack as he lands on both feet. He nonchalantly walked toward the building, one foot after another; his backpack swung from side to side made clanking sounds. Finally after what felt like an eternity, he arrives before the tall iron doors with two guards on either side of the doors.

"Hello. Who is this?" asked the guards who stood beside the door. "My name is the Silver Shadow." replied the Silver Shadow in his casual deep voice. Right after a quick security check with a scanner from the left guard the one to the right said "Alright, you may enter. Boss is awaiting you in room six."

The Silver Shadow strolled through the iron doors and followed the numbers beside each room. In total, he noticed that were only fifty rooms and were divided among two or three floors. Also it was quite dark inside due to the few light sources scattered on the ceilings and walls. In the dark it was distinguished that the floors, ceilings, and patterned walls were made up of black marble that shone underneath the few lights. A few minutes later, he arrived at room six which had a wooden door and creaked with age as it opened.

He entered the room and closed the wooden door behind him. On the far side of the room, there sat a table cluttered with papers, other sharp objects, and bubbling potions. Above the table, was a bulletin board cluttered with papers and people faces, some crossed out and others circled with red yard crossed from all the pictures creating a timeline. What stuck strange about this room was that other than the table and bulletin board it was empty. As the Silver Shadow studied the room, another man in black dressed formal sat studying him.

"Hello you must be the Silver Shadow I have been hearing so much about lately." said the man. "Ah yes and you must the man who summoned me here." replied the Silver Shadow. "That is accurate very well done sir." said the man amused at the accurate and keen observations the Silver Shadow made, yet he made sure he didn't express any feelings in his voice. "So why exactly did you call me here?" questioned the Silver Shadow as he raised an eyebrow. "That is the question of this century or era, but perhaps it would be better if I showed you." replied the man.

Suddenly there were sounds of machine whirling within the walls and floor. Then something sharp shot out of a small hole in the wall and stabbed the Silver Shadow in the shoulder right through a small gap in his shoulder armor and his chest armor. After that everything blurred and went black.
