Silver Shadow's POV

I just stood there shocked for a few seconds. Alright since that hipster just took Velda, I had to bring her back. Well I don't have to, I can just let her be kidnapped and rot wherever he had taken her. But I don't know what it was about this one girl, I just want to save her now even though I usually don't care about people.

So first I tried to make a tracking spell to track his location of where he had taken Velda. Unfortunately, the spell didn't work because somehow I was wearing the arm cuffs that blocked my powers. That's going to be a problem.

I start to search the bookshelves for this one book that I had mind would help. I took several books out, with the cuffs on it was pretty hard, and laid them on the cluttered potion table. The books on the table are the ones that could work and the ones that don't have what I am looking for I pile them on the floor. As I looked through the books, I came up with how I would save Velda from that terrible human being.

Velda's POV

The last thing I remember is looking into Xavier's eyes that had concern in them. After I tried to get away from Matt, everything was blurry as I looked at Xavier I remember blushing and his angry expression that he couldn't help me. A few seconds later, everything went black as I vanished from the room. Now I wake up in the empty city leader's house in the main city.

I sit in a wooden chair that belongs to the wooden dining table. There are eight wooden chairs, flowers in vases on the table, and plates and silverware setup on the table in front of each chair on the table. The chair I sit on is the one that overlooks the whole table. The kitchen is behind me, there also wooden cupboards and wooden drawers above and below the garnet tops. Plates and silverware clatter the garnet tops as well as the silver sink. They are piled up, with a ton of stains on all the plates. There is also dust glossed all over the top, dining table, wooden floor, living room mat and couches, TV stand, and the small stairs that lead upstairs.

The sunlight from the blinders on the wall in front of me falls in rays onto the floor, table, and into the rest of the room. My hands are tied with a thick rope onto the wooden back support of the chair. I already missed Xavier and the way he looked at me and saved me today.  After a few seconds, the wooden door next to the kitchen opened. As voice approached the door closed, and there was a thud of something being dropped onto the old wooden floor.

"Hello. Your finally awake. That's good, let's see if your boyfriend cares enough about you to save you from this abandoned and empty house." Matt said as he entered and sat on the chair to the right of me. Without looking at him I said "Hello. Also he isn't my boyfriend. Like he said he just saved me from a bunch of psycho killers.". "Okay whatever you say. Anyways I brought you here for a reason other than the fun of it." he said taking off his black sunglasses. "You always have a reason for doing things. So what do you want from me. Also what does your plan have to do with Xavier." I asked him looking directly into his bright blue eyes.

"What I want from you is pretty simple. All you have to do is make this item, from this book with the help of Xavier of course." Matt said taking out a brown book with yellow pages and a big dark red gem in the center of the cover. "Why can't the great and powerful Matt make this item?"I said raising my eyebrow slightly. "Well let's just say I'm not good or powerful enough make it. Also if you don't know Xavier is the most powerful guy ever living. So since you starting hanging out with him you might be able to make it." he replied with hatred in his eyes. "Okay. Why do you hate him so much?"I asked seeing the hatred in his eyes. "Don't even ask that question. If I told you the real reason you would be very suprised. So will you make this item and stay alive." he said to me with a trace of annoyance in his voice. "Yes I will." I said deciding to make it just until Xavier came to save me, I know he will come for me.

After a few seconds, Matt gave me the book and the eight inch tall box he had brought. Inside the box was all the ingredients I needed to make the item. He cut the ropes that bonded my hands to the wooden chair. After he cut the ropes, he told me that the recipe was in the middle of the book which wasn't helpful because the book had two-thousand pages. It took me a few minutes to flip through the middle section of the book. All the while looking for the description that was told to me by Matt. I read through the one hundred pages. I was so confused, but lucky I knew a bit about how to start making the item. Thanks to the books I read back in the underground room that Xavier was in I could start. I starting making the item as Matt cooked some Chinese dish from a cook book that he had taken out of one of the drawers underneath the stove.

A few hours past, it became night time. The item I was making was not even half way done. Matt severed the dinner and we both ate it. After eating, Matt said he was going to sleep upstairs in the master bedroom with the door open. I slept on the living room couch after dusting it off and I grabbed a furred blanket.
