After three morning classes, it was lunch time. As soon as the lunch bell rings everyone rushed outside and to the small cafeteria, while others went outside to eat. Students move about getting lunch, talking, laughing, shoving each other to go faster in a friendly way, or loitering this way and that way around the big campus. The Silver Shadow, or Xavier is quietly sitting under the tall shade of an oak tree outside as the sun shines through the leaves creating rays. He studies what appears to be the Chemistry book and writes quickly in his notebook catching up on the lecture and notes. After eating, writing, and studying he decides to take a stroll around campus as it was a sunny day and the sky is bearing no clouds. Just as he packed up and got up to leave, he spotted Velda.

Velda, the girl the Silver Shadow bumped into, was socializing with her big group of friends some distance away. They all sit underneath the shade of the tall oak tree as they chat and polish their nails. Some of them applying makeup while the other texted and watched on their phones. In total, there are ten girls in this group. Velda in particular is laying down with her head resting on the lap of the tall and pretty African American girl who wears red eyeliner, fake long black eyelashes on top of her real ones, and face power with bronzer. She and Velda chatted together as they seemed to be the new ones to the group.

Xavier leaned against the oak tree as he read a banner that was posted on the wall of the cafeteria. As he finished reading the banner that was advertising the various fraternities and sororities, Xavier was deciding wither or not to go talk to Velda. She looked over at him for a brief second. Then got up from her laying position and excused herself from the group. As she walked over towards Xavier, three girls from her group looked over at him and then continued on whatever they were doing.

"Hey, Xavier. You look as lonely as a tree." Velda said smiling as she approached him. "Hello. I'm not alone by the way. Just prefer being separate from the majority sometimes." he replied with a smirk. "Oh really, is that so? Then why all the books, you nerd." she asked and laughed. "Yes. And I am not a nerd. It's something called catching up with studies. I bet you don't know what that means because you aren't doing that. No wonder you have C's and D's." Xavier replied with a slight British accent. " How do you know my grades for sure?" she said after a slight pause due to the fact that it was true.

"There right there on that wall." he said as he laughed gently looking at Velda's face turn tomato red from embarrassment. "Yeah....... there is a reason that you will never understand." she replied quietly. "Okay. Go on tell me." Xavier said crossing his muscular arms. "Uh....." Velda trailed off not wanting to tell him and then said " I was thinking about asking you a question about this event coming up." "Alright, ask me." he replied raising his thick eyebrow slightly. "Okay, well there is this-----" she said as she was broken of by a distant guns going off.

The student outside were running around trying to get to safe. People pushing and shoving to get inside the cafeteria and classrooms. Xavier grabbed Velda's hand and ran the opposite direction of everyone. He runs toward the Chemistry building. But he had to keep stopping because Velda ran slower. So eventually he picked Velda up with her legs to the right, her head resting on his left shoulder, and her elegant arms around his neck. As he ran across the wet grass and into several sprinklers that were on, Velda looks up at Xavier as he runs and over at the cafeteria where a bunch of tall guys wearing black from top to bottom with machine guns and a black limousine parked a few yards away. They were taking all the valuable possessions of the remaining students who were left outside and couldn't get to safe in time. Some unfortunate people laid motionless as stones on the ground.

Xavier was a mile away from the Chemistry building. The grass was brow and shriveled up from dehydration for years. Xavier's foot caught on hidden rock in the grass, and he tumbled forward as he fell he gently threw Velda onto the grass aside so she won't get hurt. He hit the ground really hard with a thud, as metal lock smacked the middle of his chest. After a few seconds, he got up slowly since crushed rib was hurting.

When Xavier got up he noticed a hidden squared iron door, which was hidden with brown grass that made it look like there was nothing there from afar. It's outline was faded due to the grass covering the door. Velda and Xavier brushed aside the grass and saw that there was the small iron door that had a symbol on it. They looked up each other with a surprised expression and their eyes widened as they realized what the symbol was for.
