Silver Shadow's POV
It wasn't a coincidence that the same guy who brought me to room six left after the dragon showed up, and now there he stood in the doorway.
"Where you the one who set me up?!" I questioned with angry. "My my aren't we tensed up here." responded Zikrab. "Just answer the question and don't beat around the bush." I said again, I wasn't going to let him down that easily. "Fine, I didn't exactly set you up. I just was testing you and might have forgotten to tell you. But I have something to show you come." he replied with an eerily calm of a voice. "How do you except me to trust you this time?" I asked. "Well I have my assistant here and she will make sure nothing will happen, plus this isn't a test." Zikrab said. "I see, fine I will come." I said as I decided to make sure to keep an close eye on him.
Zikrab escorted me out of the room and to the spiraling staircase that was next to the wall nearby the one we had come up from. This staircase wasn't cobblestone, which was very strange, it was wooden and looked like they hadn't been used in ages due to the dust coating every stair. As we ascended upwards once again, the staircase creaked under our weights. My legs hurt so much, I had to use the wooden stick.
When we got to the top, the stairs flattened out to make a small platform and had a tall yet wooden dungeon like door on the wall. The door creaked with age as it opened and the dust above the doorway fell down like a curtain onto the wooden floor. My head merely brushed the top of the doorway, as I was about six feet tall.
Inside the room was tall shelves that almost touched the ceiling that were filled with bottles of potions, medicines, and various others of all the colors imaginable. On the top of the shelves were diverse plants, pictures of maps and people, and scattered clocks on the wall telling time for several places all around the world. There was a sliding wooden ladder to reach the different sections of the shelves. On a wooden table engraved with a vine-like design sat a object with copper spheres and a cylinder filled with glowing liquids which were several colors and some also contained plants, and were connected with copper tubes; there also was four dials showing the flow, the level, and the temperature of the liquids. It was very dark due to the few lights scattered around, no sunlight and no windows meant that plants were withering away. Above the table was a dull light source that flickered on an off. On the table, was a few scattered human skulls that held light candles and the whole top of each skull was covered in wax. Also on the left wall above fire, there sat a cauldron bubbling and thick white fog pouring out and onto the floor.
"What are we doing in a laboratory?" I asked quite confused. "You are just about to see." replied Zikrab as he motioned for his assistant to take her place by a reclined chair covered underneath a dusty white cloth. "Sit down. Also don't worry I will explain after you take a seat." he said as I raised an eyebrow at him.
I sat down on the iron reclined chair. It felt kind of weird, in fact it was quite strange because something didn't feel right. As I placed my hands down on the arm rests two iron handcuffs latched onto my wrists, and around my ankles as well. There was a translucent tube going around the cuffs that were filled with glowing blue liquid to block my powers. Didn't Zikrab say no more tests or tricks?
"We are doing this as just a precaution. So relax you can trust me, I need you and wouldn't kill you just yet." he said as he signaled to his assistant who waved her hand over me and all the injuries and broken bones healed. His assistant placed a metal helmet with white glowing gems and had wires coming out from the back on top of my head. She also grabbed a syringe with a pointed end that was filled with green liquid. "Now relax, for this part we will give you this syringe just for your safety, it wouldn't harm you in anyway. Also what comes next is vital so please relax and trust me, in time I will show you." Zikrab said as the assistant injected the syringe into my muscular arm. After that everything became blurry and went black after a few seconds.
