Women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self control - Timothy 2:9
Christopher~ Monday 8:30am
"You remember what I told you Christopher, I will take you out of that school so fast if you do anything! no doing nothing stupid you hear me!--"
"Okay dad I got you. I'll be fine"
Trying to convince my dad I'll be fine was like teaching a brick wall to talk.Everything bonces off his skull. Everything I say goes through one ear and out the other.
"I'm serious!" He looks up from his news paper. I stood in the mirror brushing off my sweatshirt and black jeans "I know you are" I respond.
"I know about all that mess August be doing.. That may be your cousin but don't get yourself wrapped up in that. I ain't raise no fool" I clenched my jaw trying not to say anything smart. I continued to put on my white air forces"So this is all about August?--"
"He's the one who gave you this Idea. You were fine at that private school--"
"This was something I chose on my own, Momma accepted that so why can't you--"
"She and I both know that boy ain't nothing but the devils work!" He spat. "Devin'll be lucky that boy don't bust hell wide open"
To my father,August was the worst thing that could happen to me. August wasn't your ideal preachers son, Uncle Devin could never get it out of him.I know about the stuff he does, but I knew if anybody was down for me at the end of the day besides god and momma, it was August.
"I don't mean to talk bad about family" My dad said trying to save himself from the hole he dug. "But you know, what I expect from you Christopher-"
"Its almost 9 sweetie, you don't wanna be late your first day" Both of our eyes shot over to my momma standing in the door way with my car keys. I nodded. I grabbed my book bag from my desk chair and slung it over my back.
"Have a good day baby boy" She smiled standing on her toes to kiss my forehead. I smile "I will" I took my keys from her refusing to even look back at my father. I walk downstairs to the front door. All I could hear from here is my parents bickering
"What the hell did you say to that boy now ?!"
"He knows I don't want him hanging out with that boy!"
"That's his family, MY nephew! You let that boy be a teenager, I won't let you ruin his life like your father did to you, God is watching over my baby regardless. Now shut the hell up!"
Instead of listening to the rest of my momma telling him off, I walked outside locking the front door behind me. I unlocked the door to my matte black Lamborghini, put my stuff and the back before pushing the start button. I backed out the driveway, pushing it to make it to school on time.

When I got to school, I immediately could see the difference from a private environment to public. All the students hung out outside of the building in small cliques
