At The Hospital

Cheryl's POV
"Cheryl, slow down!" Jughead yelled.

Archie texted me and said Veronica tried to kill herself and she's in the hospital. I picked up Josie and Jughead. Who was with Betty.

"Why were you with Betty?!" I yelled.

"Nice to see you too, Cheryl." Betty said.

"Long story short, we have had a secret relationship since July!" Jughead replied.

"What the f-" I took a sharp turn and I hit my head against the steering wheel.

HONK!!!!!!

"Babe, you gotta slow down! I know Veronica is in the hospital but if you don't stop, we're going to be in the hospital!" Josie yelled.

"Why are we yelling?!" Jughead yelled.

"I think it fits because Cheryl is going really fast!" Betty yelled.

"I think we should stop yelling because it's eleven o'clock at night and this car has no roof!" I yelled.

We were silent for a moment. Then it started raining.

"Are you fucking kidding me!" We all yelled.

25 minutes later
We arrived at the hospital. Our clothes and hair were wet. Hermione was there because I texted her.

"You're finally here." Hermione said as she walked towards us.

"Yeah. How is she?" I asked.

"I haven't heard anything yet. But they should tell me soon." Hermione said.

I nodded my head. "All of you, sit down." Hermione said.

We sat down. The doctor showed up fifteen minutes later. We all stood up when he showed up.

"Are you Ms. Lodge?" The doctor asked.

"Yes." Hermione said as she shook hands with the doctor.

"We put your doctor on life support. If she doesn't wake up by the end of the month, we will have to take her off life support."

"So what you're saying is..." I said.

"If Veronica doesn't wake up by April 30th, she's dead." Jughead replied.

"Can we see her?" Hermione asked.

"Yes." The doctor said.

Hermione, Jughead, Betty, and Josie started walking.

"I'll be there in a couple of minutes." I said.

Josie stopped walking and walked towards me.

"How are you feeling?" She asked.

"Just sad, you know. That's how you're suppose to feel when your best friend kills herself and she might not wake up."

"I'm sorry." Josie said.

"Say that April 30th when Veronica dies." I replied.

"Don't say that. She could live." Josie responded.

"Exactly, she could. She might not live." Cheryl said.

"You have to stop being so negative. Come on, let's go see Veronica." Josie replied.

Hermione, Jughead, and Betty came to the lobby.

"Let's go." Josie said.

Josie took my hand and took me to Veronica's room.

We went into Veronica's room. She looked so lifeless.

"Well, aren't you going to say something?" I asked.

"I never knew anything about Veronica before I met you. I think you should talk to her." Josie replied.

I sighed and said, "Hi V. Um, I don't really have anything to say. I just really want you alive. You're my best friend and all so it's no surprise I want you alive. But lots of people are going to miss you. Lots of people are going to be devastated if you die. You might not believe it but-"

I started to cry.

"But, I'm sorry I'm not good at this. I need you alive. Archie needs you alive. I know you guys broke up because he said it when he texted me. I've seen the way he looks at you. He doesn't look at anyone else that way. Not even Betty!"

I looked at Josie. "I think I said enough."

We walked out of the room. When we got to the lobby, I took out my phone.

Me: Veronica is on life support. If you are not here one of these days Veronica is on life support, so help me Archie, I will hurt you.
