Ty
We sat and waited for Mom to get home. She said she is going to take us out to dinner. Ollie and I were 'forced' to share a room. Mom said that could be our room everytime we stay over. I got dressed and laid back on the couch downstairs. Dave and Ollie were dancing along to some music I had playing in the background. I watched them in extreme amusement. We hung around the house until about 6 when Mom walked in. "You guys ready?" I pulled fixed the flower crown on my head and followed the boys out. "This dinner is going be accompanied by a man that I've been seeing." Dave looked at Mom is surprise. "How long?" "About 8 months." The car ride was silent expect for the occasional sighs. We reached a fancy restaurant and we all climbed out. Dave hugged Mom and told her that he's happy she found someone.

We were seated at a table with a man and his daughter sitting at it. "Guys this is Walter and his daughter Tiffany. Walter this is my son Dave and his friends Tyler and Oliver. I count them as my own." I winced at the use of my full name. He smiled at us all. Tiffany just rolled her eyes and started texting someone. I sat in between Dave and Ollie and looked away from Walter's roaming eyes. He wouldn't stop staring at me and it was creeping me out. Ollie seemed to notice my uneasiness and grabbed my hand to calm me. I looked at him gratefully. "So Tyler-" "Its Ty." "So Ty, who's your parents?" I looked down into my lap, clutching Ollie's hand like it was my lifeline. "My dad is on tour and my mother is no where to be found." "And Oliver?" "I live with my brother. He's also on tour." Mom cleared her throat to get the attention away from us.

"Are you two settled in okay?" We both nodded. "Good." She turned to talk to Walter, leaving 1 bitch and three friends to talk to each other. "I can tell my dad doesn't like you guys." The bitch looked up from her phone and smirked at the three of us. "He looks at you three like you're gum on the bottom of his 200 dollar shoes. Quite frankly, I don't disagree with him. Who would like two emo freaks and a fag?" I felt Dave stiffen next to me. "Listen princess. Just because daddy thinks you're all that, doesn't mean you can go around and act like queen bee. One day someone is gonna treat you like the stupid bitch you are. And quite honestly, I will enjoy every second of that." I grabbed both boys hands and squeezed them. "Dave you're not a fag. You are an amazing gay person. Like Tyler Joesph." He laughed and smiled at me. "Ollie you're not a freak. Being emo is where its at." He playfully shoved me and kisses my cheek.

We ate and waited for Mom in the car. We ignored all the rude jabs from queen bitch and daddy satan. We played around and joked with each other before Mom decided to join us. She didn't say anything regarding the dinner. She drove us home and told us to go to our rooms. Dave, Ollie, and I sat on the bed in Ollie and I's room. We talked quietly amongst each other and listened for anything that may send us down to check on Mom. "I don't think she noticed Walter and queen bitch acting like that. She may think we were being rude." Ollie whispered. Dave and I looked at each other. I could see the fear in his eyes. His mother was all he had left. He built a family with Ollie and I in it, but it isn't like the bond he has with Mom.
