"Are you going home?" I looked up at the boy standing next to Aj, I assumed he's Max, and nodded. "I have school tomorrow. I need my things, but I'll see you guys there." We had just got home from tour and I was visibly shaking with fear, at the thought of walking into that house. Josh pulled me into a hug and handed me his number. "If you need anything and anything at all, just call me." I thanked him and walked up to the already opened door. The boys got home 2 hours before me. I turned the knob, sucked in a huge breath, and walked inside. I had no idea what I was expecting. But this wasn't it. Pete had his arms wrapped around his whore girlfriend and the rest of the guys watched them, with disgusted looks on their faces. "I'm here." Pete didn't look up, but the rest did. Patrick jumped up, opening his arms for a hug. I rubbed my face, wiping away the tears, and a little bit of my concealer came off. Patrick gasped at the slightly still visible bruise. He looked back at Pete, as if questioning. "Yeah that was from him." "I'm so sorry hun." "I'm just going to go to bed. I have school in the morning." I smiled sheepishly at the others and half ran to my room. My stomach was doing a thousand flips. My heart pounded with fear. I felt like I was going to cry. I hadn't interacted with the band since Pete slapped me. "Just go to bed. You're alarm is so early that you can go to Aj's and not bother the guys."

I turned off my alarm, looking around quickly. I didn't hear any movement, so I took that as okay. I got up, got dressed, did my makeup, braided my faded blue hair, put in all the piercings I had left out for months (Pete hated them), and I quickly took my pills. I grabbed my packed backpack and slid my feet into wedged combat boots. I quietly made my way upstairs, grabbing some money out of my wallet on the way. I taped a note to my door and walked out the front door. I had waken up at 5:15 and Aj usually wakes up at 6. That gives me enough time to go to the Starbucks down the street and get myself some coffee. I shambled into the Starbucks, recognizing a familiar face. "Hey Tony!" He turned and waved sleepily at me. "How come you're up so early?" "Just took Oliver to the airport. He's going to go live with Mom." "Listen I'm sorry abiut what happened." I absentmindley rubbed my neck. "Don't worry about it. Oliver was out of the line with how he acted. How has your summer been?" I ordered my coffee and turned back to Tony. "Eh. Pete and I aren't exactly talking at the moment. I actually spent the last 2 weeks on TØP's bus." I looked down at my shoes. "What happened?" "We got into a fight a-and he slapped me." I heard a sharp intake of breath and felt a hand on my shoulder. "Are you okay?" "Yeah. Doesn't hurt anymore. I'm terrified to be around him though. I still go home and everything."

"You have our number if you need anything. But for now I got to go. I'll see you soon Ty." I waved after him and retrieved my own drink. It was 5:45 and it was about a 30 minute walk from here to Josh's. I started the trek to his house, staring at the scenery as I passed. It feels like it has been an enternity since I've been here. I did the last 4 months of school and then we did an extended 3 more months for summer. I spent a total of 7 months on tour. Before I knew it, I had arrived on Josh's doorstep. I knocked, knowing they're expecting me. "Morning Ty!" I smiled at the very awaken Max. "Morning Max." He allowed me in and I hugged Aj, who was shambling sleepily. "How're you so excited for school?" Max shrugged, drinking some coffee. "He's always excited for the first day then as the year goes on, he gets bored. How was your night?" "Talked to Pat. Pete pretended I didn't exist and I went to bed."
