Ty
Ollie and I stepped back and smiled at our finished work. We had finished painting two days ago and we had just rearranged my room. My bed was at the far wall from the door, my desk on the wall next to it, my TV was mounted above the dresser on the wall farthest from the bed, the windows had new pastel blue curtains with black paint splatters on them. My bathroom had left over paint splattered on it, same with my bedroom door. The chalkboard wall has the boys' signatures at the top and it was covered with my random drawings. Posters and pictures covered the ceiling and walls. Shelves held my plushies and collectables. Fairylights hung around the doorframes and around my bed post. A little reading nook was set up in the corner of my room. My closet had my clothes hung up and my shoes coordinated in the back. My backpack is on a hook by my bedroom door. My snapbacks and beanies are on a shelf by my bathroom. My bathroom held my showering things by the shower and my jewelry by the door. My mirror is framed in Christmas lights. Little drawings are all around my mirror.

"This looks absolutely amazing." I hugged Ollie and smiled at the outlook of my room. This is my dream room. "The best for the best." I laughed and ran up the steps to my door. "GUYS COME LOOK AT THIS!" They had only been allowed in when they signed the chalkboard. They all piled into my room and looked around in awe. "This looks so fucking awesome." "You two did this?" Jack motioned toward everything. "Yep. We rearranged it, painted it, put up the lights, put up the posters, pictures, shelves, made the little book nook and threw the rest of the paint on the doors." I motioned to the bathroom door. "That looks like you dumped paint on the door and let it do its thing." "We pretty much did that. We threw some paint at it and at each other. Then dumped the rest of it on the doors." "Anyway you guys have school tomorrow. Go to bed." I laughed and shoved everyone out of my room. I laid down in my cozy ass bed and felt Ollie's arm snake around my waist. I snuggled into his chest and fell into a dreamless sleep.

"UP!" I groaned and snuggled my face into Ollie's chest more. "Get up or you won't get a ride to school." I sighed and got up. "ALEX GET YOUR FUCKING DOG!" Jack ran out of my room, allowing Ollie and I to get ready. "Alright nerd, up." I pressed a kiss to his cheek and dragged him out of bed. "But I wanna cuddle." His whining continued until I shut myself into the bathroom to get ready. I got dressed quickly and I did my hair up into a small ponytail. I made sure my makeup was okay before leaving the bathroom. "How the hell are you not dressed?" He shrugged, pulling on a shirt. I turned around to pack up my backpack and when I turned back, he was fixing his hair under his beanie. "Come here dipshit." I fixed his beanie and kissed his cheek. He grabbed my hand and tugged me upstairs.

We stumbled into the kitchen, catching Pete off guard. "You two are a little upbeat today." I shrugged, grabbing my coffee cup from Alex. "Thank you." I kissed Pete's and Alex's cheek. "Jack get in here!" He ran into the kitchen with puppy dog eyes. I hugged him quickly, pressing a kiss to his cheek as well. "Thank you for waking us up. My alarm clearly didn't do the job this morning." "Ty, we're going to be late to school." I cursed quietly and we ran out, Jack on our heels. He dropped us off, yelling lyrics out the window of Pete's car. "BYE!" He sped off, leaving us to deal with all the stares from our peers. "Come on. I want to help Byers set up." I followed Ollie into school, making a bee-line for art.

"I need to go to the library to grab a few books. I'll be back in a few." Ollie ran off toward the library and I walked into my art class. "Good morning Ty. Where's Ollie?" "He's picking up some books from the library. Do you need help with anything?" "Can you quickly draw an animal on the board? It's for the project we're starting today. You have to draw a cartoon animal doing something an animal wouldn't typically do." I grabbed a few colored dry erase markers and drew a kitten singing and driving a car. "Ty that cat looks an awful lot like Jack." I chuckled and took a picture. I posted it to Instagram, tagging Jack in it.
