billy and steve

billy had drove you and max to school that morning, they had an argument about max's friends

you didn't understand why billy was so harsh to max, shouldn't he be harsh to your father? he was the one that moved you all here.
he's the one that wanted the new beginning.

you stepped out the car as max walked over to her group of friends, then billy got out and put out his cigarette by stepping on it

"i miss california" billy sighed as he walked over to you and patted you on the back, his eyes snapped over to max and her friends as they started staring at the both of you

"these kids are dead" he huffed then stomped over to them, making them act like they weren't staring

you followed closely behind billy

"what are you staring at goons?"
billy hissed and looked max right in the eye, "i thought i told you not to hang out with these fr-"

you cut him off, "kids." and elbow billy in the side causing him to push your elbow away harshly

suddenly you felt a hand snake around your waist, it was steve.

"harrington hands off my goddamn sister" billy said while still glaring at max

"sorry but no thanks hargrove" steve smiled and gripped your waist a bit tighter

you jump back as billy threw a punch at steve

steve stumbled back and grabbed his nose, "shit!" dustin said as him and the others ran over to steve

"billy!" you and max both yelled at the same time

"you're such a dick, and last night i thought you were really starting to change" you laugh then walk over to steve, "let's go get you cleaned up"

steve's arm hangs around your shoulders as you walk him to the nurses office

*time skip*

"i heard that billy threw a punch at steve today" nancy said as you leaned on a locker right next to yours, "pretty wild of billy to do that"

you slam your locker, causing her to jump a little bit

"sorry" you sigh then rub the side of your temples, "billy's gotten on my nerves lately"

"maybe a girls night could help you calm your nerves" nancy smiled

"yeah actually it would" you smile back

"cool! mine tonight at 7. can someone drop you off at mine?" nancy said as she stands up straight when the bell rings

"yeah billy can"

"see you soon y/n" nancy said and waved as she walked down the hallway
