you entered the steve's house after dustin as steve followed behind you
he closed the door then walked to the living room and dustin went to the kitchen, obviously looking for food
"where's you parents steve?" you ask as you against the living room door frame as steve plops on the couch
"they're on 'date night'" he laughs
there's silence for a moment until steve suddenly jumps up as the door bell rings, "shit i forgot jonathan and will are sleeping over!" he says as he fast walks past you to the front door
"jonathan?" you say to yourself and walk into the kitchen to where dustin was
he was making himself a sandwich, a cheese and ham one to be exact
"hungry are we? steve didn't make you dinner?" you laugh as you open the fridge and grab a beer
"drinking are we?" dustin asks in a joking way and a kind of innocent ways
"yes" you reply bluntly
"but you're not even 21!" he exclaims as he picks up his sandwich
you laugh as you take a sip
suddenly there's a loud bang, it sounds like a window breaking
"what was that!" will, steve and jonathan yell
you hear the front door slam and lock
you grab onto dustin's wrist and pull him to where they all were, now in the living room
you all heard thuds and crashes
"upstairs now." he says to dustin and will, they shake their heads and head for the stair case
"is there someone in the house?" you ask with wide eyes then another crash booms through out the house causing you to scream and drop the beer glass that was held in your hand
jonathan put a finger to his lip, "shhh!" he whisper yelled
he walks to the living room door way and peeks out, "grab your bag right now steve" jonathan is cut off by being pushed over
a grunt escape his lips as he winced in pain
you look up to see two men in hooded masks
steve pushes you back and steps foward
"get out my fucking house" steve says as he states the two men down and jonathan slowly backs away
jonathan stands up next to steve and you walk next to jonathan
"get out" jonathan yelled, the two men mocked him
steve's bat swung and the two men landed on the floor
"go go go!" he yelled as the three of you ran out of the house, the kids following closely behind
"we told you guys to go upstairs" you hiss at the two young boys,
"that's really not the problem right now y/n! there's people in steve's house"
"we need to go, we'll go to the police station" steve says
dustin goes with will and jonathan and you go with steve
you and steve's finger were intertwined the whole way to the police station
what a hell of a night
