jonathan byers

you storm inside the school, all eyes were on you.

when you found your locker there were 4 boys and a girl in front of it
"move it" you said through gritted teeth and they all moved expect the girl.

she had big brown puppy dog eyes and a cool punk style.

"pretty" she said while staring up at you "sorry about her!" a kid with black hair said and pulled her away

"wait aren't you nancy wheelers brother?" you almost laughed
"y-yes" he stuttered.

you bursted out laughing and he just stood there with his group of friends behind him.

"why's that so funny?" he said with confusion in his eyes.
"doesn't matter." you say bluntly and turn to your locker to grab your books

you shut your locker and put your books in your bag, just as you were putting your last book in your bag someone ran into you

"oh shit i'm sorry!" the strange guy blurts out. "it's alright" you say while picking up your bag

"wait aren't you the new girl here?"
he asks with his head slightly bowed down "yeah. yeah i am" he opens up a piece of paper from his pocket

"y/n h-hargrove right?" he stutters a bit. "that's me."

"oh.. uh i'm jonathan. jonathan byers" "oh my god! didn't your brother get lost in the woods" you say quite loudly making a few heads turn your way

"um yeah" he puts the paper back in his pocket "i'm meant to be showing you and your brother around the school today"

"nice" you say sweetly but alarms go off in your head, billy is totally going to bully this guy.
jonathan didn't look like a jock or even popular.

"follow me to the office" he says suddenly interrupting you from your thoughts "your brother will be waiting for us"

"aren't you the freak that stole nancy wheelers heart from steve harrington or whatever?" you ask innocently while walking next to him

"sorry i didn't mean you're a freak people just say you're one.." you trail off.

"yes i am the one that 'stole' her heart" he chuckles.

i see billy leaning on the office door

jonathan approaches him,
"hey i'm jonathan byers i'll be showing you around th-"

"the school? i already know dumb ass" billy said as he stood up straight

"don't be a dick, billy" you glare at him and he gives you the middle finger in return

jonathan sighs as his hand gestured you and billy to follow him.
