christmas day

"wake up y/n" your dad said while shaking you awake, "i've got a surprise for you" he gestured you to follow him and you did

you walk into the dining room to see steve talking to susan, "i invited him over for christmas breakfast"

"how did you get his home phone number?"

"phone book" your dad said

you ran up to steve and gave him a kiss on the cheek, "merry christmas y/n hargrove"

"merry christmas steve harrington"

you sat next to steve and joined susan and his conversation, "what's he doing here?!" you heard billy screech

"who's here?" max said while pushing past billy that was in the door way

"hi steve!" max said as she sat by her mother, billy had calmed down and walked over to the table and sat next to you as your dad seated by susan

"dig in" susan smiled and you all began to eat

*time skip*

"thank you so much for the meal mrs and mr hargrove" steve smiled as the both of you stood up

"dad can me and steve go to the park?" you ask as your fingers intertwined with steve's

"sure. just be home by 12?" your dad said, "remember we're also having a christmas lunch with the wheelers" susan jumped in

"yes i remember" you sigh

"i'll surely have her home by then" steve laughed

you and steve had the bestest time at the park, you swung on the swings while he cracked a few jokes, bad jokes you must admit.

you felt like the luckiest girl in the world and you were sure steve wanted you to feel like that,

despite all the fights you and billy had over steve, you still stuck by steve's side

steve suggested the two of you 'baby sat' again

baby sitting max and her friends?

hell no.

being with steve?

hell yeah.

you accepted the baby sitting offer, hoping there would be no more drama with the demo-dogs
