Chapter 3

~your perspective~

     Days pass and it's now moving day.
"Finally done." I say putting the last box down.
"I'm sooo excited, Jax"
Jax looks at me annoyed.
"You wanna..." I saw getting down to Jax's level.
I don't even have to complete my sentence and Jax is already at the door. He starts barking when I don't get up.
"All right all right. Jeez. I'm coming."
I grab Jax's leash and harness and head to my new home.

"Hey guys!" I say opening the door. "Hello?" I can't see or hear anything or anyone.
"WELCOME HOME!" Everyone including the girls shouts and comes out of there hiding spots.
"Aw. Guys. You didn't have to do this." I say letting Jax off his leash and harness. As I stand up from Jax's level, I see Colby wink at me. I can feel my face get red. I can only look into his ocean blue eyes. I notice his pupils grow as does my love for him.
"So what about us helping you move?" Colby asks.
"Sure let's go. Um hey, is it alright if Jax stays? He should be fine."
"Of course. He's gotta get used to being by himself in this house anyways so why not start now."
"Great!" I say turning around and walking out the door.

As Colby and I get the last two boxes, I notice he doesn't try to catch up with everyone else.
"Why are you staying back with me, Colby?" I saying smiling. People usually aren't this nice to me. Especially to a little city girl.
"Because. I just can't process how beautiful you are. Especially your eyes. One day they'll b as green as grass, the next hazel, and the next blue as mine. They're about as fascinating as you are." Colby says smiling.
"Aw Colby. That's so sweet." I can tell my face is getting really red.
"Aw don't be embarrassed. Be proud! You're gonna live with five boys. You gotta get used to it. Especially with me. You'll be getting compliments from me all the time. In fact I was wondering..." Colby trailed off looking at the ground.
"What? What is it?" I say confused but happy because I have a feeling I know what he's gonna say.
"No it's nothing. Really."
"Aw common. Can't leave me hanging like that."
"All right all right. Will you, _____ be my girlfriend?"
"Wait. Really?!"
"Is that an excited or annoyed tone..."
"It's an excited one!"
"Oh. Great! So..."
"OF COURSE!"
"Aw sweet!" Colby said leaning over to kiss me.

We catch up to the guys ahead.
"What were you love birds doing?" Corey says with a smile.
"What do you mean 'love birds?' _____ dropped her box and I helped her."
"Right. Professing your love by helping her with her dropped box." Elton said smirking.
"Y'all have selective hearing. You only listen in on the juicy stuff, but when I ask for help, none of y'all act like you are deaf."
"Oh yeah we hear you, we just don't come." Elton says laughing.

As soon as we get to the house I tell them to just sit them down upstairs and I'll do the rest. Luckily my bed and such is already moved in. Start to unpack.
"Hm. How ironic. Your room right besides mine." I jump a little. I wasn't expecting anyone.
"Hi, Colby."
"Hey, anything I can do to help?"
"Yeah actually." I say pointing to a box.
A couple of hours go by and I take a break.
"Almost done." I say walking into Colby's room. He's peacefully asleep with his ever so dearly loved koala.
"Oh Colby. You and your koala." I laugh and head downstairs.
Kat and Devyn are outside with all four dogs. I see the door to the garage open. I walk in and see candles on the floor. I then see Elton, Sam, Aaron, and Corey get a Ouija board.
"I'm not touching that shit." Corey says followed with "Yeah I'm not" by Aaron.
"All right all right." Sam says setting the board down.
"Well could you at least go get a match?" Elton says.
"Sure why not." Aaron says walking into the kitchen.
"Oh hey, _____. Wanna join us? Well, them." Corey asks
"Nah I'm good. But I'll watch." I say walking in followed my Aaron.
Before I could get to the couch, Colby comes in.
"Rise and shine." Corey says.
"Yeah yeah." Colby says setting down next to me. He then wraps his arm around me.
"Awww." The boys all say.
I laugh as Colby's face gets red.
"Alright got the camera set up, Sam?"
"Aannd...go."
"Hey guys, what's up. I'm back with the Ouija board. It's not night time but I heard some strange noises. You're probably wondering who's this lovely girl Colby has his arm wrapped around. Would you care to explain Colby?" Elton intros his vid.
"Well of course. This ladies and gentlemen is..._____, my girlfriend. Now please don't make a big deal about it. Please don't hate on her." Colby says kissing me on the forehead.
"*cough cough* it's a vid. Going out to where billions of people can see it." Elton exclaims.
"Right..." Colby says awkwardly.
"Anyways lets get going" Elton says.

Everything is fine. No activity is happening. Then all of a sudden the planchette moves fast to 6. It makes me jump.
"Sorry I'm not used to this stuff." I say embarrassed.
Colby chuckles.
"No no. You're fine, _____" Corey assures me. "I jump almost every time and I've been 'apart' of this for a while."
I just laugh off my embarrassment.
Then Elton ends the video with "please support Colby and _____ for their decision. Thank you."
"Woah. That was cool. But scary." I say going into the kitchen in front of everyone else.
"Yeah. I guess." Aaron says not too happy that he agreed to do that.

Sam and Colby go to San Francisco to an abandoned, haunted tunnel for a video. Kat goes home for a couple hours to do some work. The Aaron, Corey, and Devyn are in the game room. Elton is working. And the dogs are upstairs. I walk into the gams room. Devyn is on a bean bag. While the other two are on the couch playing Rocket League.
"That's bullshit." Corey says after Aaron scores yet another goal.
"Did you mess with the controls, Aaron. NO ONE MESSES WITH MY ROCKET LEAGUE. NO ONE."
"Corey's not too happy that he is getting beat, _____" Devyn says sitting up.
"Yeah. I can tell." I laugh.

It's my first night here I think laying in bed. Jax comes up and jumps on my bed for the night.
"This is where our life begins, Jax. Goodnight." I say drifting into a deep sleep.
