I tried explaining to Colby why I was crying. I couldn't. I just couldn't get words out. So I just lay there being miserable.

"Baby, it's okay. If you aren't able to explain it, don't worry about it. I don't want to put you through any more pain and stress than what you are already going through." Colby eventually calmed me down, but that didn't keep from thinking about it.

I was able to stop crying and just lye there. I don't remember, but I fell asleep because I woke to the dogs paying in the kitchen. It was now 2:30. The pain in my scars had gone away. But not the scars themselves. I would rather have the scars than the pain I guess.

Since I don't feel like sleeping through the entire day, I decide to go outside. Tonight is New Years! I thought to myself very excitedly. My first New Years with Colby. I smiled not even realizing Colby had walked outside.

"What are you smiling at?" Colby says looking where I'm looking trying to figure it out by himself.

I jump back into reality along with jumping when I got scared.

"Oh nothing," I quickly returned.

"Okay," Colby wasn't buying it.

"So what are our plans for tonight, _____" Colby sits in a chair that I didn't even realize we had.

"Oh I don't know. Probably stay here," I said turning around to look at him. I added "with you," to the end, but to where only I could hear.

"Okay, good. I was hoping I could spend it with you," Colby got up and kissed me. It was unexpected, but I still enjoyed it.

When I walked in Corey was in the kitchen. He didn't have his hair pulled back so it looked really weird if his beanie fell off. He was of course making Pizza Rolls. A lot of Pizza Rolls.

"Those for tonight?" Colby asked coming in behind me.

"No they're for me. This is my snack," Colby replied, "No, of course its for tonight you idiot."

"I believed both of those," Colby smirked. Corey tackled Colby. I stood back and watched it all happen hoping I wouldn't be brought into this.

"I'm not fat. Tell me to my face, 'I'm. Not. Fat.'" Corey almost had him strangled to death.

"You're...not...fat..." Colby is able to make out while being killed.

"Thank you," and with that Corey let go. Colby scrambled to his feet and pulled out his pocket knife.

"I still have this..." Colby evilly smiled, held up his open pocket knife, and hinted that he would cut his hair. Colby started chasing after Corey. He was only able to get to Corey beanie and ripped it off. Corey went into the nearest room which was the bathroom, or as they like to call it "the 24 pee-pee room", and locked the door behind him.

"Cooooreyyyy," Colby sang as he jiggled the door knob.

"Go away," was all that would Corey would say.

"Okay, okay," Colby said backing away with his hands up like there was a police man telling to.

Colby waited just around the corner for a good 10 minutes to for Corey to finally come out. I went into the kitchen so that when Corey finally came out, he wouldn't see me. I got bored after five minutes of waiting so I decided to be nice and put the Pizza Rolls in the oven for Corey. Colby had put his knife away. Colby wasn't to give up that easily. As soon as Corey came out, he looked both ways looking for the both of us. Colby jumped around the corner and scared the living shit out of him. Corey made a noise I don't even know if it was human.

"What the actual f--- was that Corey?" I commented coming around the corner. I guess I scared him too because he jumped a second time.

"Good lord are you jumpy," Colby said helping up Corey up who had fallen after I scared him.

"Well I waited in there for about 10 minutes just to make sure y'all were gone. Guess I didn't wait long enough," Corey brushed off his clothes making sure there wasn't any dirt or dust on them. He grabbed his beanie from the stairs (which I had grabbed from Colby when he took it from Corey's head), ran his hand through his hair pushing it all back and slipped his beanie on.

I took the Pizza Rolls out making sure I didn't burn them.

"Oh thanks, _____" Corey came into the kitchen and dumped them all into a giant bowl that I don't think anyone knew we had.

"When the hell did we get a bowl the size of the moon?" Colby asked sarcastically.

"I bought it. Today."

"Explains a lot," Colby walked into the game room and turned on the TV to Rocket League.

"I'll play," I said walking into the room.

"Same!" Corey called after I sat down.

We turn on all three controllers and get started. I was winning through the first half and the Corey started to catch up. Colby was... well... being Colby and just messing around.

We finished that one game and started the next. In the middle of the next round, the lights flickered off and back on. Soon after that, there was a small pain in my left foot. I didn't think much of it. It grew and grew as the seconds ticked by. It grew so painful I couldn't make any noises. I couldn't get anyone's attention that way so I started to move. I tried rocking back and forth, but no one noticed. I poked Colby on the shoulder.

"Yes, babe?" He didn't turn his head. Too concentrated. I lastly resorted to slapping him on the knee.

"What?!" He whipped his head around. He saw my fear and agony and in my eyes. I pointed to my ankle. All three of us looked at my ankle. You could literally see the scars going down my leg and onto my toes. I was in so much pain, I was past the point of crying and screaming.

"SAM! ELTON! AARON!" Corey called as Colby held me in his arms telling me that it was going to be okay. The girls were out of town for the weekend so it was only the boys and me. All three ran down and found me and Colby with tears streaming down our face. Colby was terrified. I was too, but I was mostly full of pain and agony.

"LOOK AT _____'s FOOT," Corey pointed to my ankle to show them.

"Holy shit" from Aaron and Elton was the last thing I remember before passing out yet once again. But this time, everyone including me, was happy I did. That meant I was free of pain for awhile.
