Once In a Lifetime

Chapter 7

~your perspective~

We make it home safe, and Colby had woken up before we got home.

"You go upstairs and get some rest, Colby." I told him while putting his pain meds away.

"Yes ma'am." Colby said jokingly after saluting me.

"Yeah, Yeah."

Everyone was out doing stuff. Corey and Devyn had gone on a date, Kat went to shoot a music video, Elton took all the dogs willingly to the dog park, and Aaron is visiting a friend in San Francisco. He'll be there for a night and come back tomorrow. Meanwhile, I sit down and turn on Colby's vlog camera. Just because I'm bored and I'm curious, I set it in the garage with the lights off. The only lights i put in there are two candles.

I reviewed the footage after about 15 of leaving it in there. When I walked into the garage to get the camera, I noticed the candles had gone out. All the windows and doors were closed so there was no way of wind coming through the kitchen or the garage. The camera picked up some noises I definitely did not hear. It picked up a couple whispers, a pair of faint eyes behind a shelf that held the Ouija board, about five thuds, and it caught two orbs flying around the Ouija board. All within 15 minutes.

Sam had come down the stairs and asked what I was doing.

"I put Colby's camera in the garage to see if I could catch anything." I said pulling up the footage on a computer.

"Well did you?" Sam asked coming over to the computer.

"Come see for yourself."

~after looking at the footage~

"Holy shit." Sam said putting the computer down.

"Yeah." I turned the computer off and put the memory card back into Colby's camera.

"Wait 'til Corey and Aaron see this." Sam said grabbing a glass.

"Yeah, they're gonna flip."

Sam goes to pick up his glass he had sat down, but before he reached the glass, it randomly falls to the floor shattering. I jumped. I hear something else break.

"What was that?" Sam says turning around.

"The computer screen broke,"

"We aren't safe." Sam said.

"Well no shit we aren't safe. COLBY." I yell.

"WHAT."

"Get your butt down here." Sam is in kind of a rush.

Me: dont go back to the house. Something isn't right.

Corey: why what happened???

Me: a glass broke without anyone touching it and someone's computer screen shattered without anyone near it.

Elton: well get the hell out of there what are you guys waiting on?

Me: nothing but where do we go exactly.

Elton: idk just get away.

Me: dont have to tell me twice.

"What do you gu-" Colby get interrupted walking out the door following us.

"There's something in the house." Sam said getting in the passenger door.

"WELL LET'S GO THEN," Colby runs to get in the car "Ow. Shouldn't have down than."

"Workin on it." I start the car.

"So what exactly happened?" Colby says propping his booted foot up on the seat beside him.

"A glass fell and shattered while I was going to pick it up and then your computer screen broke without anyone near it." Sam explained

"Great. I gotta buy a new computer." Colby was pissed.

We soon arrived in a crowded park. I'm glad it was crowded for once so if anything were to happen to us, at least one person would see it. We spent the rest of the day at malls that were also crowded and at restaurants. We rented a hotel room and stayed the night. I had never feared for our lives more than what all happened today.

I know this chapter is short but I wanted to upload something everyday if possible. I I'm trying very hard to get a new chapter out every day so if you can be patient with this one's length, it's greatly accepted.
