third person

"it's a girl!" rafiki announces. nala and simba squeal in excitement. their daughter was finally born!

"is her name gonna be kiara?" kion asks excitedly. simba and nala nod their head and he smiles.

"why can't her name be kayla?" kopa groans. kion sticks his tongue out at his twin brother and vitani watched as the two fought with joy.

"everyone gather around!" nala and simba call. it was the birth of their daughter, princess kiara. the royals were so excited for the princess to be presented. sarafina watched as her daughter proudly walks up priderock with her mate and a little princess.

"ugh, i need to kill that kopa soon!" zira complains. she had always hated simba and his family. she was only being nice to gain their trust and kill the future king.

"momma, leave them alone!" kovu groans. he was sick and tired of his mother rambling about how disgusting the royals are. zira ignored her son's words and continued to plan her next move.

"hey guys, you excited?" tiifu asks kopa and kion. they both nod their heads and fangirl over how cute their younger sister looks.

"oh, can you guys shut it!? we know kiara is cute!" vitani rolls her eyes. she had enough of the boys fangirling over how cute kiara looks.

"awh, is little tani jelly 'cause she doesn't have a younger sibling?" kion coos. vitani laughs at his attempt to make a baby voice.

"hey, why is the ground vibrating and it's sooo noisy all of a sudden?" tiifu asks, puzzled. soon, the four realised kiara was being presented! kion and kopa sat in the cave, proud of being older brothers to a cute cub.

"a girl!? oh boy," timon faints, the princes laugh at the meerkat and the warthog.

"oh boy, did you see their faces?" vitani and tiifu laugh. the boys nodded their heads and continue to laugh along with the girls and their parents.

( two months later )

"hey mom, dad?" kopa nudges his parents. their attention moves towards their oldest cub.

"hm, yes dear?" nala asks calmly.

"i wanna go on a walk!" he exclaims,

"with grandmama!" he continues. sarabi's head turns to the nine month old cub.

"oh, really? i would love to show you around!" sarabi smiles at her grandson. kopa jumps around. little did they know, zira was secretly watching them, waiting to make her move.

"hey mom, dad?" kion calls for his parents. simba nods his head to whatever zazu was saying and walked off with the bird.

"yes kion?" nala smiles at her son. kion looks around the cave for a particular lion, and he was no where to be seen. he looked disappointed and was about to leave,

"oh kion, kopa went on a walk around the pridelands with your grandmama," nala explains and kion nods his head. he sighs before walking off to the other cubs, that were part of his lion guard.

kion ; the fiercest, vitani ; the fastest, nuka ; the keenest of sight, kovu ; the strongest, and tiifu ; the bravest.

kion gave his team a look before walking off. they were on the search for kopa and sarabi.

( meanwhile, with kopa, sarabi and zira )

"hey grandmama, who's mom's real father? i've heard the lionesses say grandfather mufasa or granduncle jasiri." the curious cub asks. just as soon as sarabi was going to tell him their complicated family tree, zira lunged towards sarabi.

they fought, and it wasn't a pretty sight at all. kopa cried and wished that his grandmother would survive and win the battle, but his wish wasn't granted and sarabi died. zira looked at kopa with her red, evil eyes. kopa was scared and his blue - green eyes searched for an animal that could help.

"no escaping now, little brat." zira tackles him to the ground. kopa looked at zira with innocent eyes but zira gave no mercy.

"awh, your murderer daddy isn't here to save you, huh?" zira asks in a baby voice. kopa tried to back up but zira kept following him, watching his every move.

zira attacked the young prince and tried her best to kill him. soon, she gave up and looked at the lifeless body of kopa. she had no feelings whatsoever. soon, she realised some animals watched her kill the young cub.

kion

i just watched as zira killed my brother. if you're wondering, "why didn't you save him!?" was because i knew zira was much stronger than the whole guard combined and she was kovu, vitani and nuka's mother.

"vitani, fetch my parents here, now." i say sternly. she simply nods and runs off. damn, she's fast.

after about a few minutes, mom was behind me and saw kopa's lifeless body. we explained everything and she was devastated. she told vitani to fetch the lionesses and if she can find the king himself, it would be better. not only she saw the dead body of kopa, she saw the dead body of the former queen, her mother - in - law, her second best advisor, her friend, sarabi.

third person

soon, everyone gathered around the two dead bodies, all heartbroken and shocked that zira was the murderer. they decided to bury sarabi, but not kopa as they would leave him out to rot, so hyenas and other carnivores could devour him. it seemed like a sacrifice but it wasn't. kion put some of kopa's tuft into a hole and buried it. he considered it as kopa's grave.

the king and queen decided that it would be better if the young princess was to be queen. simba banished zira and her cubs, along with the people who believed in scar and zira.

kion was devastated. not even kula's pregnancy cheered up the pridelanders. it was the worst day for all of them.

that was how kopa and sarabi died.
