Into the room, large and deep.
The ceiling has light after light, the ballroom lit.
The guests will soon arrive, at exactly 5:45.
Excitement overwhelms, as the first man approaches.
The one I've been waiting for, the one that approaches.
"Could I have this dance?" Of course I agree, as couples flood in,
The spotlights on you and me.
Through the mask you wear, I see your true face.
Intoxication of love and lust, end the night full of trust.
You'll take me in your carriage, and home we will arrive.
Take my hand, Side by side.
In just a few months, The sound of a babies cry.
My, oh my. The child is so sweet.
Then comes another, oh my the heap.
Once again you take my hand, we dance the night away.
So, you see, the memories of a life changing day will never fade.
