[Vent] Battle Argumentum a Fortiori

Running forward with all you got.

Your weapons, your energy, you fought.

Still, it wasn't enough.

The enemy wasn't even tough.

In a battle of words only one is stronger.

In a battle of words only one is longer.

In a battle full of logic and endearment.

Only one can come up top.

But you have to listen, it's the key in a debate.

Every time I argue I'm not fueling hate.

Have you ever been in a simple debate, without saying obscene words, you say only what evidence backs up?

Then however there's the people you see,

They'll just simply laugh and say "Ooh, your talking over me!"

Especially when your arguing hard, even when you waited for them to finish talking.

They'll talk over you and say you're doing the same, and that is why I can't stand to be blamed.
Because when the solution is obvious, when I'm clearly right, naturally to you I'm wrong.
Because age makes you right, experience makes you right, authority makes you right, oh yes.

If an adult says dogs can have purple fur they can't be wrong.

If an adult says ice is hot they can't be wrong.

If an adult says food isn't edible they can't be wrong.

If your older, more "mature", maturity is defined by age.

Maturity clearly is defined by reactive rage.

Because every time you talk it fuels my fire.

Every time you make a logic lacking refute it puts me in an area that's dire.

And even when I'm right, even with evidence?
I'm still wrong.

Oh, how wrong can I be? Most certainly wrong.

Your older, your right.

Your authority, your right.

Your staff, your right.

Your human, your right.

Humans make mistakes, but clearly you don't.
You're perfect in every way, so of course you won't, and even if I prove you wrong, my maturity is defined, I won't scream, or shout, I won't even be obscene.

I'll respectfully argue but you'll still call it wrong.

The effort in analyzing is true.

The effort in penalizing is true.

When I look at you, my eyes seep fire.

Because you'll never see the truth because your blinded by authoritarian wires.

And so you believe because your older your right.

You're right.

You're right.

You're right.

Oh, humans don't make mistakes, once they turn 18.

They're always right, a child is never right.

A child's always wrong
We're misguided and we're dumb.

We know nothing.

We say what we're taught.

We don't fight back, we don't know a lot.

We're stupid, we're unintelligent we're annoying.

We don't know what we're saying, we don't know what we're doing.

We're never right because we're younger.

However age doesn't define maturity,

Kids run banks, and kids refute logically

Then adults, cheat, commit crimes, and talk over you, then they say they're smarter then you.

Why don't you see how it feels.

Why don't you approach me properly?

Treat me like an equal and why don't you see; how intelligent are you? Because age is not maturity, age is not intelligence.
Clearly if adults go to jail, commit crimes, and cheat, they can be wrong, and I'm not saying we can't be, because there's a limit to how right someone can be.

You like to push the bounds and claim that we're free.

Then you laugh, and talk over us.

Then you shout at us for talking over you.

If we say something our view is untainted.
We haven't lived long enough to have it ingrained.

You've lived long enough to become biased.

You've lived long enough to become indifferent.

Age is just a number, in certain ways.

If the solution is clear, why don't you listen?

If I'm going to listen to you, and respect you.

Please respect me too.

I've refuted you.
