Undone

Light and happiness spread around,
The fire is on, games being played.
Board games, Running games, shouts of fun.
What's done cannot be undone.
Soon you see me do you not?
In the snow, bothered not.
Shining light from the sky,
Tears fall from my eyes..
(They turn to ice.)
You miss him don't you dear?
He wants you to win, not to be near.
Eyes colder then the snow.
A heart so warm, yet you don't truly know.
~
I stride through the blizzard.
The deadly wind blows.
Someone approaches from behind.
Are you really mine?
Touch my shoulder, could kindness be in your eyes.
The only light in those eyes is the light of a hellfire.
A hellfire can't be put out.
My eye feels burned, I am down.
This is why I'm in the blizzard.
The scar I have a mark of the times past by.
The white ceiling of an ambulance.
Is all I remember that faithful day.
The scar that would bring past pains.
It reminds me to continue on.
Me and myself should move on.
Reach to the light, don't look back.
The heat of the cold, the father I lack.
