Chapter 4
A month has passed since the first semester started and the popularity of the three guys still haven't subsided yet; their game was still on going and so was ours. Girls from left to right kept on throwing their selves at their feet which was fun to see at times because it just shows how desperate those girls are.
Since the six of us all have the same classes for the entire semester we grew closer to each other but the bond we have is not really the kind of bond where we all eat at the same table during lunch period together, but more on bonding during classes or occasionally hanging out together after class. We girls, still have our own clique while they do the same.
Kelsie and Lance seem to have a thing between them but neither one of them will admit to us if they do. Seb and I are best friends and we treat each other like we are siblings, he often tells others I'm his little sister from another mother, Mary and Davids' relationship is the same like mine and Sebs'. Since we tend to act like little children we tend to annoy each other so much up to the point where Kelsie and Lance would act like our parents and stop us before things get messy.
The one who usually starts with the taunts and smart comments is David that's why we fight often, which makes us frienemies, friend and enemies combined. Mary often, if not always, takes his side since they have a bond like Seb and Mine. But I have just recently discovered that Mary has some hidden feelings for Seb that's why she often sided with David to make him jealous. How it will make Seb jealous, I don't know.
Being close to them made the other girls jealous and do their best to taunt and hurt us in any way they can like through gossip and physical pain. We don't really mind them because we wouldn't want to stoop to their level. We're all in college for Christ sake! I can't believe some people still act as if they're still in high school or worse, elementary.
I got up so late that morning due to the architectural designs I crammed to finish the night before, so instead of coming in my first class of the day I decided to skip it and come in on the second instead, so I took my time and decided to read a little bit before going to school and before I know it I was beginning to get late for my second class as well, so I hurriedly grabbed my bag and my drawings from the kitchen counter and dashed off to school.
As I was hurrying to my first class for the day which was supposed to be my second class, someone bumped into me so hard that it caused me to fall on the floor and send the papers that I was holding on air.
"Sorry!" I said, not bothering to look up I began to pick up all the fallen papers expecting some help from the one that bumped into me. But instead of help, all I heard was laughter. I then looked up and saw that the girl that bumped to me was not a girl that I know by name but by face only. I know her face because she was one of the few who has strawberry blonde hair at our school.
I hurried to pick every paper I dropped fast and stood up in front of the girl. "You know you should have said sorry for bumping into me or could've at least helped" I said, trying to get my anger down.
"And why would I?" she said, she turned to her friends and laughed. "I mean, it was your fault for not looking where you were going and being so slutty-I mean clumsy"
"Excuse me?" I said suddenly realizing what this is all about, inching in closer to her. "Seriously? Is being friends with Lance, Seb and David such a crime?"
"Friends?" she said in a mocking tone." I don't think so! You're just a little slut who thinks she can be friends with them!"
"Bitch please; calling me names won't do anything." I said. "You can do better than that."
