Thief

I believe that there are places where time works differently

Places where time does not move too fast or too slow

Where its passing is as convenient as its existence 

And places where it isn't

I believe in the places where time isn't

Isn't important or isn't dependent 

Places where you have all the time and none at all 

And everything to appreciate

I believe that time was created to give us a reason to appreciate 

People have a tendency to take life for granted

Treat their ability to live like it is not a god given gift

And they don't have something to lose 

I believe time gives you something to lose 

Something as unretrievable as sleep

So necessary to the simple functionality of life

And only a thief would take it 

I believe a thief has taken it from me 

Both my time and my sleep

For when my eyes close my mind begins to wander

And it goes to the place where time isn't
