Chunin Exams Part 6: We're Running out of Time

Keiko POV

"No," Aki said.
"Come on," Naruto pleaded.
"I SAID NO!" Aki shouted while activating her Midnight Star.
"Okay," Naruto said backing off.

The whole team was out fishing, we were starving and we needed food stat. Naruto was begging Aki to get in the water, but being Aki water scares her. And being Naruto he wouldn't give up. I was in the shallow end to see if little fishes come up.

"Ugh this is impossible," I said. "Aki can you at least come to the shallow end so you can help me," if you don't know Aki is mighty good at fishing which is ironic because she hates water.
"Okay okay damn," Aki gave in.

Naruto was swimming for fish, Sasuke was giving orders, and Sakura and preparing the fire.

"It's cold ;-;" Aki said.
"Deal with it honey," I said.
"Hey Uchiha rather than standing there and being pretty why don't you come help," Aki said.
"Tch," Sasuke sucked his teeth.

Sasuke walked forward and started to help with fishing.

"I'm diving in okay, I'll try to get some fish," I said.
"Okay, have fun," Aki responded.

I dove in...

Aki POV

This sucks, I'm practically shaking, I can slip and fall and die in the water ;-;.

"Hey calm down, you'll be fine," Uchiha said.

I crouched down to see if I can get any fish...

"Hey Aki, I need payback," Uchiha said.
"Payback for... HEY WAIT WAIT!"

Uchiha picked me up and Carried me closer too the deep end...

"You worries the crap out of me, I need revenge," he said smirking."
"No wait, stop don't throw me in PLEASE!" I shouted.
" I hope you can swim..." he said.

I tightly grabbed onto his shirt, and closed my eyes as he lifted me up about to throw me in.

"Hmph," he put me back down.
"That's enough payback,"

Sasuke POV

She grabbed me tight, she really is scared of the water...

"Hmph," I put her down. "That's enough payback."
"Dammit Uchiha Don't do that," she said while placing her hand on her knees and taking deep breaths.
"Can you swim ?" I asked.
"Yes," she responded.
"Then why are you so afraid of it?" I asked while looking for fish.
"Childhood stuff, I was a bad child so the punishments my caretaker would do left me uh..."
"You don't have to keep going, sorry..." I apologized.
"As long as you didn't throw me iIINNNN! HEY I GOT ONE AWESOME!" She yelled out.

I helped her grab the fish out of the water...

"Awesome, I'll take it to land you try to get more," she said as she walked towards land.

I wonder what went on through Aki's mind when she was bit by Orochimaru, she doesn't seems too worried about it now... what did Orochimaru do to her while she was taken away?

All these thoughts were running through my mind I had no idea what to think of... dammit...

Aki POV

We were surrounded the fire while waiting for the fishies to be cooked...

"Hey... the exam started four days ago right..... and we were only given five days to complete it," Uchiha stated.
"Well this is great, teams are gonna start getting desperate!" I exclaimed.
"It'll be over in less than 26 hours, most of the teams are done by now," Keiko said.
"They're might not be enough scrolls left," Sakura stated. We all eyed her...

"The second exam is only supposed to last five days, four days have passed... there's 26 teams and 13 of the scrolls. That was before Orochimaru attacked us and burned our heaven scroll," She explained. "At that point, only 12 teams became able to pass... since the earth scroll that completed our set became useless when our heaven scroll was burned."

"Damn, our next enemy is our only chance..." I muttered.
"I'm gonna go get some water, Keiko... Aki come with?"Uchiha  asked.

We both nodded and followed him.

We stood by the edge of the lake

"I can't wait till these exams are over yo, all the stress ;-;," Keiko said.
"Right, at this point it's getting on my nerves," I said.
"We all wanna leave..."Uchiha  said.
"I could use a nice cup of coffee," I said.
"Gross," Uchiha said.
"Well excuse me then," I said while flipping my hair.
"I wonder what Neeeeji is up to," Keiko said mockingly.
"S-shut up, we have the scrolls to worry about, Hmph," I said.

"Stupid," Sasuke said.

Well then... to clear things up Naruto and Sakura decided that it would be a fantastic idea to open the scrolls. Leaving them alone wasn't the brightest either.

In front of us was a dude with silver hair and Harry Potter shaped glasses... huh they do look similar. The Harry Potter look alike was apparently named Kabuto and he stopped the two from opening it.

"Be careful, when I last took the exam, anyone who opened the scrolls was hit with a spell of hypnosis, they wouldn't get up until the exam was over," Kabuto said.
"What are you doing out here by yourself?" Sasuke asked harshly.
"I got separated from my team, I'm meeting them at the tower, I'll see you guy around," Kabuto said then turned to walk alway.
"Wait... fight me," Uchiha said...

"Yo Uchiha..." I said but was stopped.
"There's no other way, this might be our only chance," Sasuke said.
"Hm follow me, I'll show you the path you should tread. But we need to move, that fire you started and the fish you roasted is driving enough attention already," Kabuto said.

Ugh following him wouldn't be the brightest but we have no choice, off to follow Kabuto we go.
