Aki and Keiko: Stuck In Naruto (A Naruto Fanfic)

Third Person POV

The battle was over, the mission was over. Sasuke was gone, Aki was gone, hearts were broken.

The ninja who went after Sasuke were now at the hospital. They were all pretty hurt. Jonin found them, close to death, quickly brought back to the village.

All were now awake, hurt, but still alive. Except for Keiko. She remained in a coma for a couple days now. All worried what was done to the Souta.

When Naruto awoke all he did was stay by her side. No concerning of his own injuries. He held her hand often to let her know she was there.

No one yet knew about the Heikima.

It was early afternoon and Naruto, as always, was sitting beside Keiko with a worried expression.

That wasn't gonna last for long...

"Aki, Aki," Keiko began to mumbled.

Naruto quickly stood up and looked over at Keiko.

She yelled Aki's name out louder, right before she woke.

"Keiko!" Naruto said. "Are you okay?"

Keiko was sweating, breathing heavily, shaking. Naruto grabbed her hand reassuring Keiko that they were safe.

"N-Naruto," Keiko mumbled.

Keiko took a few minutes to remember what had occurred. She realized she was in the hospital pretty quickly.

"Sasuke? Did we get Sasuke?" She asked.

Naruto looked down sadly.

"We didn't.... Aki.... what happened?" Naruto asked.
"She definitely left."

The words Aki said flew back into her mind.

"Please spread the word... Aki Heikima... member of the Akatsuki. Will kill, will survive, will do what it takes to make this shinobi world a better place."

Keiko repeated those words.

Naruto's eyes widened.

Keiko's tears slowly began flowing down her cheek and the thought of her and Aki. Not to mention retrieving back Sasuke was a fail.

"She's part of a bad ninja group?" Naruto asked and Keiko nodded in response.
"What the hell," Naruto spit out as if it was venom.
"She'll be our enemy soon."

Keiko was being questioned by Tsunade, answering truthfully, only hurt her more.

She would often cry when she was alone, but when she was surrounded by other people she expressed no emotion whatsoever.

Many people would try to talk to her...

Tsunade
Jiraiya
Kakashi

To no avail... she was broken, mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Once Tsunade was done questioning, Keiko was left alone again. Tears quickly flowing.

She then felt a sharp pain on her stomach.

The curse mark.

Keiko lifted her shirt to see the disgusting curse mark. It only reminded her of the fight. She glared down at the horrid mark.

She turned over to a bed stand next to her hospital bed, where all her stuff was placed. She saw a Kunai that was conveniently placed on top. She took it.
