Aki POV

We were back in the village, but no one was happy. We just had a big loss.

Once Pakkun told us he sensed the Hokage was dead we rushed back to village, only finding out that it was actually true.

We were getting ready for the funeral that was being held today.

"Aki I don't wanna go," Keiko so as she walked in my room.
"May I ask why," I said.
"I-I just can't..." Keiko said.
"Sad?"
"Well of course I'm sad Aki. I wanna pay my respects... but I just can't do funerals," she said holding her black kimono tightly in her hand.

As I put my black kimono on I looked at the gloomy sky from the window.

"I don't know what to say... it's proper that we go," I said while tying the kimono around my waist as it hugs my body comfortably.
"Can we just... stay on the roof so we're not surrounded by people," Keiko suggested.
"Fine by me," I said. "Now go get dressed."

Keiko nodded and went to her room.

I tied my hair into a half pony tail, where the bottom of my hair was let down. I but on my black ninja shoes, and waited for Keiko.

She had her black kimono on and her short hair out resting on her shoulders.

Since we won't be with anyone else we decided we wouldn't wait for the rest of our team. And we just jumped roof to roof to where the funeral was being held. We could see what was going on clearly. However no one could see us.

We then see the rest of Team 7 walk in. Everyone was there, so many people to honor the life of the Third Hokage. Everyone was silent, no words were to be said.

~•~

The funeral was quite long, right people were leaving flowers by the casket one by one.

I was thinking of the short amount of time Keiko and I spoke to the Third Hokage. When he let us into the village, gave us a place to stay. We wouldn't have become shinobi if it weren't for him. He could've lived for much longer... but Orochimaru killed him. It set a fire down in my soul, and not a good kind.

As the funeral ended rain began to pour down hard. My hair fell longer as my curls began to stretch out from the water on them. My kimono began sticking to me.

The gloomy skies just made it more sadder.

"The sky is crying as well," I hear Asuma Sensei say.

It's true, the sky is crying...

As the funeral ended Keiko and I walked back home, only to be stopped by the rest of our team.

"Aki, Keiko, where were you two?" Naruto asked sharply, most likely angry. "Why weren't you there?"
"We were at the funeral... I just... I just couldn't stand with you all... Aki and I were on a roof not far," Keiko said looking down as the rain kept pouring. "Sorry, I held Aki back cuz I just didn't have the strength to go." Keiko began choking on her words, on the verge of tears.

"No no, it's okay Keiko, it's a hard time for everyone, we all handle it in different ways," Sakura said comforting Keiko.

Keiko nodded as she began wiping her tears that fell.

"Who's gonna be Hokage now?" Uchiha mumbled.
"That's right, probably one of the jonin," I said. "Hey, you all wanna dry off at our place?" I asked.

They all nodded in agreement.

We walked back to our place in silence, and we were soon in front of the door.

We entered and the place was dark, I turned on the lights and quickly went inside and grabbed towels and handed them to everyone.

"Dry off, you can all take turns taking a bath or shower, whatever you prefer. Sakura I have some clothes that may fit you. Uchiha, Naruto... Eh I think I have some over sized t-shirts and shorts," I said while running off to my room.

Sakura was the first in the bathroom, while Uchiha, Naruto, and Keiko were drying off in the living room.

I got her some comfy shorts and a plain t-shirt.

Next was Naruto.

I got home a orange t-shirt than was big on me and some black shorts. (I had to dude clothes in hand... eh just in case)

Then Uchiha.

I got him a black shirt and blue shorts.

Keiko was then in the bathroom.

While she was in the bathroom I got everyone some snacks. Pretty soon Keiko was out and it was my turn.

I took a shower and changed into some comfy clothes.

When I got out I smelled some good food.

"Smells good Keiko," I said.
"Thanks, chicken Alfredo," she said.
"What's Chicken Alfredo?" Naruto asked as he walked into the chicken and looked at Keiko cooking.

"Looks like ramen!" He exclaimed.
"Heheh I know but it's not it pasta and chicken you'll love it," Keiko said.

Uchiha and Sakura ended up coming to watch as well and stared in awe as Keiko cooked.

While she cooked I went to go get blankets for everyone.

I come back with blankets setting them down on the floor.

"Food is ready!" Keiko said.

She set the plates down on the table.

We all sat down and began to eat.

"Wow! This is good!" Naruto said excitedly.
"Yes yes it is!" Sakura said.
"Not bad," Uchiha said.

When we were all done we huddled under blankets and sat in awkward silence.

"So... hows the weather?" I asked.
"It's a lot better, the rain has cleared up," Sakura said.

We all looked outside to see the sun semi shining, it was sunset.

"Stupid Orochimaru," Naruto mumbled.

Now I feel worse that I wanted to go with him. I stroke the curse mark on my neck.

"He's up to something... whatever that is... it's big," I said.

Everyone turned to me.

"Three people with curse marks, Third Hokage dead, sound ninja attacking. What's his goal?" I said.
"Someone has to stop him," Uchiha said.

To Change the topic I turn on the TV and flip the channel to some good cartoons.

"Why is that pink star such an idiot?" Uchiha asked.
"The creators made him that way," Keiko said.
"He reminds me of a certain someone," he said while eyeing Naruto.
"Haha, I wonder who. He must be a real big idiot," Naruto said.

We all laughed...

After a gloomy day we found some reassurance, and comfort within each other... we then instantly fell asleep, as a team.
