"Heya!" Lexi shouted to me as she got on the bus.

"Hi? Why are you in a good mood?" I asked.

"Do I need a reason to be happy?"

"You're Lexi. Of course you do."

"Well if you really must know... I am going to a concert tonight!" Lexi said.

"What a Selena Gomez concert?" I asked sarcastically. That’s pretty much all Lexi listened to.

"Holy pickles, yes!" she said, a huge smile on her face.

"Wow."

"Jealous much?"

"No."

"Whatever, Anne. You wish you could come with me," Lexi teased.

"Wait! Who are you bringing?" I asked, suddenly caring.

"Well considering tomorrow is Luke's birthday, I offered him a ticket as a birthday gift," Lexi said smugly.

I looked across the aisle at Luke who was looking at me with wide eyes as to say 'help me!'

I burst out laughing. "Oh Lexi. Lexi, Lexi, Lexi. Luke is a guy! He couldn't care less about Selena Gomez!"

"She is pretty hot!" Will chipped in.

"Shut up," I snapped.

"Rawr," Will said. I rolled my eyes and returned to Lexi.

"So you’re saying I shouldn't have offered?"

"No, I'm saying you should take someone who would care."

"So you are jealous!" Lexi shouted, loud enough for the whole bus to hear. They all turned around and stared at us. I pointed to Lexi, and their eyes focused in on her.

"Hey everyone! I have a free Selena Gomez concert ticket for anyone who wants to go with me!" she shouted.

The whole bus went wild.

"Fine I'll go with you I'm jealous!" I said over all the noise.

"Awesome."

"Aww man. I wanted to go!" Will whined.

"Will, I honestly worry about you," I said.

"Yeah, seriously dude," Luke said punching Will's shoulder.

"You know you wanted to go."

"No, I really didn't," Luke replied.

"Will you both shut up? I'm taking Anne and that's final," Lexi said.

"Loser," Will mumbled.

"Excuse me? Shall we go back to the day I smashed Luke's face in? That could be you Will. That could be you."

"Sorry."

"Watch your back."

"Lexandra! Please be quiet and pay attention!" Ms. Lenny said for the hundredth time.

"Sorry."

All day Lexi had been humming numerous Selena Gomez songs, and it was driving all of us insane. After a few minutes of listening to Ms. Lenny explain to us what the types of pronouns were, Lexi returned to humming "Who Says".

"Lexandra!" Ms. Lenny hissed.

"Ms. Lenny, if you are jealous that I get to go to her concert tonight, I may be able to get you a ticket."

"I'm not jealous! I want you to listen while you are in class," the teacher replied.

"I try, but it's kinda hard."

"Because you don't understand it?" Ms. Lenny asked.

"No, because you sound like a nasally version of Charlie Brown’s teacher," Lexi replied truthfully. I snorted, and Ms. Lenny narrowed her eyes at me.

"Do you find that funny, Annalise?"

"No ma'am."

"Suck up," Lexi mumbled.

"Shut up," I spat back.

"Lexandra, I'm afraid you are distracting not only me but my other students. We are going to have to transfer you to another class. This has been your last straw," Ms. Lenny said, an evil smile stretching across her face. She let out a horrible cackle that made my ears want to bleed.

Okay maybe that wasn’t true but it seemed appropriate for the scenario.

"I'm sure not staying here if Lexi can't," I said.

"Me neither!" Will and Luke both said.

"Sit down and settle down children," Ms. Lenny said. Then she turned to Lexi. "I have given you too many chances to clean up her act. You will be transferred to Ms. Betty's class."

"Score!! I'm outta here! See ya later Anne!" Lexi said, excited.

"Okay?"

Will chuckled. "She just doesn't care."

I shook my head. " No she really doesn't."

"LEXANDRA NOELLE BLACKWELL! CAN YOU NOT STAY OUT OF TROUBLE FOR JUST ONE YEAR?!" Ms. Lotter screamed at Lexi.

"Mom. You know me," Lexi said.

I chuckled, and finished off my pop tart.

"Anne, I think you need to go home. And Lexi, you aren't going to that concert tonight. Bring the tickets over to your other friends," Ms. Lotter said.

"What?!?"Lexi screamed, outraged.

"When you learn to behave, you can be rewarded," Ms. Lotter said simply.

"Well that means I can't go either because you were the only people who could drive me because my parents went out on a date," I said.

"I'm sorry Anne," Ms. Lotter said.

I began walking out the door, when Lexi stopped me."On your way home can you drop these off at Will's?" she asked. I looked in her hand and saw the tickets.

I guess Will and Luke would get to see the concert after all.
