SORRY THIS WAS A BIT LATE AS WELL ;-; I KEEP FORGETTING TO PUBLISH IT! I hope you enjoy this chapter!

Travis and I decided to camp out for the night, because it was getting dark. We were almost at Keswerk but it was too dark to walk any further.

We set out the tent and started a fire. Travis handed me a piece of bread and we ate together by the fire.

"So... when we arrived at Falcon Claw, you said you were from Rama. Is that where you were born? Because-"

Travis laughed. "Of course not! No no. I was born in... Scales Wind! Ever heard of it before?" He asked me and I nodded.

"Oh so how'd you end up in Rama?" I asked him and he shrugged.

"I'm a traveller. I travel around, and I just happened to end up in Rama when a beautiful girl washed up the river," He said with a wink and I rolled my eyes.

"Well that 'beautiful girl'," I said adding air quotes, "doesn't appreciate you hitting on her." I said.

"Unfortunately I can't help but continue." He said with a wink and I rolled my eyes as I continued to eat.

"Can..." He said as he trailed off. "Can I ask you... why did you suddenly ran off that one day in Falcon Claw?"

I sighed, knowing it's not his fault for asking, because he didn't know. But, I was going to tell him the truth, because I could trust him. From the past few weeks, I've started to trust him more.

"Remember how my... home got burned down and all my friends and family died? Well my friend G-G... George was supposedly dead in the attack." I said glad that I caught myself from saying Garroth's name. "But when I exited the café, there was a person that looked just like him. The hair was the exact same as his. I thought it was... George so I ran after him but... nothing is ever the way you hope it is."

"Oh I'm so sorry... You must've been really close to your friend George."

"Yeah. He was my only friend. Since my father would barely let me out of my c- Home, George was the only one who came to visit time to time. Every time he came I felt like I could forget all of my trouble, and it was so fun. We would sneak out, we would prank others..." I trailed off getting a bit teary from talking about Garroth. "But now he's gone. My family is gone and I'm alone."

"Katelyn." Travis said as he held my hand. "I'm here for you. I care about you, and I know I'm a pain, but I don't plan on leaving your side anytime soon. You're not alone."

"Thank you so much." I said as I wiped my tears. "I know I'm a mess. I'm sorry."

"You're a beautiful mess." He said and this time instead of slapping him I blushed slightly and smiled at him.

There was a silence after that. A comfortable one. I looked up to the stars and smiled remembering Falcon Claw. That town was a great town... I would love to go back there one day.

"It's breathtakingly beautiful." He said as I looked at him to see him looking at him and smiling. Not his usual smirk or grin, but a real smile, which showed me how much he meant it.

Looking away, I said, "I think I've gotten enough flirting for the day. Since we'll be at Keswerk tomorrow, I'm going to sleep so I won't be tired when we get there."

I went over to my sleeping bag and pulled over my covers, covering my beating red face. What's gotten into me?

Travis' P.O.V

The next day, we continued our trip towards Keswerk. I noticed Katelyn was acting a bit stranger but I brushed it off.

We've been walking for a few hours now, and the trip had been mostly silent.

As we were walking, I heard something. I quickly pressed a finger against my mouth, and held her back to signal her to stay silent.

She gave me a questioning look, but quickly gave me a nod of understanding.

Then, I heard the ruffle again, this time louder. I quickly but silently drew my sword as Katelyn took her knuckles from her belt and took her stance.

A person walked out of the bushes, and though he looked familiar, I quickly dropped my sword. I turned to look at Katelyn.

Her eyes were teary and wide, her arms dropped to her sides. "G-G-Garroth!?" She asked the person and my head snapped towards the figure in surprise. He was indeed, Prince Garroth the heir of O'khasis.

Katelyn's P.O.V

"G-G-Garroth?" I stuttered as I stared at my friend who was presumed dead, and I had given up hopes for.

"Katelyn!" He exclaimed as he ran up to me hugged me.

I couldn't help but burst into tears. "I-I-I thought you were dead! They said you died, and-and I..."

"Shhhh it's okay. I'm here now. I'm glad you're okay as well. I wasn't sure what to do if-" his voice cracked. "if something happened to you."

"Uh... I'm sorry to interrupting your tearful reunion, but what's going on? Why is Prince Garroth here?" Travis asked looking completely confused. I had forgotten Travis was there.

"Oh I'm sorry. It's just. I'm glad to see Katelyn is okay. Thank you so much for taking care of her." He said.

"Wait Katelyn how do you know Prince Garroth!?" Travis asked me.

I breathed. I couldn't hide it any longer. "Travis, I-I've been lying to you." I said and he raised an eyebrow at me.

"Oh?"

"Yeah. I can't hide it anymore. There's no George. George is actually Garroth. I couldn't tell you because then it'd be too obvious who I am. I didn't call my home a castle by accident because I did so ever since I was little. It's because my home is a castle. I'm... I'm a princess Travis. I'm the heir of Phoenix Drop."

MERRY CHRISTMAS GUYS! I hope you enjoyed this chapter, and please vote, comment, and tell others about my story!

QOTD: Fiction or Fact? (Credits to @VioletVA for the idea)

AOTD: This is hard because everything in fiction is amazing and great, but I like a lot of things in reality too. But... I'd have to go with Fiction.
