???'s P.O.V (*gasp*)

I walked down the dark hallway, my high heels clicking as I walked. I was still not used to the place. It was so eerie and strange, and not to mention, very, very dark.

I walked into the room and stopped walking.

"Where are they now?" The figure asked. They were the boss here, but most of us have never seen their face.

"One of our spies reported that they departed to Keswerk. It's unknown where exactly in Keswerk, but it is not a big town and so locating them will be no problem." I explained.

"Send one of the spies and to Keswerk to locate them before we lose them. And also go check on him." They said.

I nodded and quickly left the room before I upset them. I descended the stairs to the basement, where there were only a few dimly lit lights. I reached the door and opened it, revealing a figure sitting in a room, a sack on his head.

I entered the room and took off the sack from the figures head, revealing his blue hair pale skin, and his icy blue eyes filled with terror.

"W- what are you going to do with me?" He stuttered in a small voice.

""We haven't done anything and if all goes well, we won't do anything to you." I said, feeling a bit guilty for making a 15 year old go through such a thing. But... it had to be done... right?

"W-where... is Katelyn?" He hesitantly asked me.

"Oh she's alive don't worry. I'm sure she'll be coming to get you shortly." I said with a slight smirk.

"D-don't do a-a-anything to Katelyn! I won't forgive you I-if you lay a hand on her!" He exclaimed and let out a laugh.

"Oh how sweet. Kacey wants to protect his sister. But how will he do that if he's trapped in this room, unable to do anything?" I asked as I put the bag back on his head. "I'll be back later with your dinner."

Katelyn's P.O.V

It's been a few weeks since we came here to Laurance's house. I've grown fairly attached to it, and though Travis is being as annoying as ever, I've been enjoying myself here.

Laurance is actually a funny nice guy, and I've been enjoying catching up with Garroth, with all the little things we did since we saw each other. Travis has had his moments where he wasn't annoying, but otherwise it was all the same.

Laurance and Garroth are pretty close, and I'm glad to see that Garroth made a close friend that he could trust. They always seem to be running around chasing each other.

Someone knocked on my door. "Come In!" I said as Travis entered the room.
"Hey, do you want to go out to the market with me?" Travis asked.

I narrowed my eyes at him. "You're... you're planning on pickpocketing people there aren't you! I'm not going if you're just going to be pickpocketing them the whole time. That'll be boring and I'd feel guilty."

"I won't! I promise! I'm just getting bored and I want to go outside. I'm not really an indoor person." Travis said.
"Well, how about you go outside by yourself?" I asked him.

"Well it's boring to go alone. Plus, I might pickpocket people if you don't come!" Travis exclaimed.

I grumbled to myself. "Fine." Why am I doing this? Right. For the sake of other people. People don't deserve to have things stolen from them.

As we went downstairs I saw Garroth chasing Laurance, a big smirk on Laurances face.

"Give it back Laurance!" Garroth exclaimed a blush on his face as Laurance just laughed and continued to run.

"Catch me if you can!" Laurance exclaimed, but hit his toes against the dining table and he fell down, howling in pain. Seeing this, all of us, especially Garroth started to laugh.

"K-k-karma!" He stuttered in between breaths as he fell to the floor from laughing so hard.

I picked up the piece of paper that Laurance was holding. "It's a photo we took about a week ago." He said closing his eyes tightly as he clutched his toes. I looked at it and immediately understood.

"Oh... oh! Ohhhhhhh." I said as I handed it back to Laurance. "Yeah Laurance, I think you should just keep it."

"Katelyn!" Garroth exclaimed his face even redder than before.

"Good luck Garroth! Travis and I are heading out to the market and will be back in a bit." I said as they continued to run around and chase each other. I shook my head and let out a laugh.

"What was on the photo?" Travis asked me but I just laughed.

"It's nothing really, I don't know why Garroth is so embarrassed about it." I lied. Actually, it was a photo that the 2 of them took. Laurance was just smiling at the camera, but Garroth was smiling at Laurance, instead of the camera.

It was actually pretty sweet, but for the sake of Garroth I decided not to tell Travis.

"Oh uh okay." Travis said as we continued to walk.

There was an awkward silence as we walked, but suddenly Travis smiled. "My love for you is like diarrhea... I can't seem to hold it in." He said as he pulled me into a hug.

I snorted. "W-where did that come from?" I said in between laughs.

Travis just shrugged. "I don't know it seemed right at the moment. Now I know you're just going to judge me."

"You bet right I'm going to judge you. That was one of the weirdest pickup lines I've ever heard someone use." I said.

"It's still a pickup line. It still works." He said as we reached the market. I saw him casually staring at peoples pockets and I slapped him.

"Don't you dare. I know it's in your nature but-." I stopped myself as I saw a figure in the distance and I felt my breath catch in my throat. They were wearing the same mask as the attackers were wearing, and they were staring... right at us.

Seeing them brought back flashbacks from that day. My parents blood, the thick smoke and blazing fire in my castle, the distant screams and lastly, Kacey being taken away from me.

What were they doing here? How did they find us? What do they want? My heart sped up and my breathing got heavier. I didn't even realize or hear Travis' alarmed calls.

I staggered back, trying to get away, to run, but my legs were frozen in place. They felt like lead and they wouldn't move. I tripped, but all I could do was stare at the figure until I blacked out.

Yo yo! I'm sorry I always update late :/ exam period is coming up and I'm stressing about it.
