"Wait... is his name... Zane?" I asked and Garroth nodded. I let out a laugh.
"We saw him! He's in Falcon Claw!" Travis exclaimed and Garroth's eyes widened.
"How is he doing?" Garroth asked.
"Well, other than being emo, he's doing pretty good. He works at a café with a good friend of mine." I said.
"And I think he's going to be getting a girlfriend soon." Travis added with a smirk.
"That's reassuring to hear. Other than the fact that my baby brother beat me in getting a girlfriend!" Garroth exclaimed and we all laughed.
"It's good to hear that not everything is bad." I said with a smile. Garroth's eyes twinkled with hope, knowing that his youngest brother was safe and happy. Seeing that was enough to keep me going. To know that all hope isn't lost.
"Are you going to go see him?" Laurance asked Garroth, but Garroth shook his head.
"He went on his own a long time ago. He may think I'm dead so I'll send a letter. I miss him, but I don't think I should interfere into his life at this point." Garroth said with a smile.
"I'll write down their address for you." I said as I took a scrap piece of paper and I scribbled down the address of Nana's Café.
"Anyways, enough talking. I'll set up a room for you guys to settle in. You guys might be tired from travelling all the way from Falcon Claw. Our beds aren't the most comfy, but it'll be better than sleeping bags." Laurance said and Travis and I thanked him as he went up stairs to arrange rooms.
"I'm going to start making dinner. Katelyn, you and Travis can go and just relax until dinner." Garroth said.
"Are you sure you don't need any help?" I asked him and he shook his head.
"It's okay thanks for offering." He said as he walked away and started making dinner.
"So let's get going then, so we won't get in the way." I said as I saw Travis looking at some things in the room.
"Don't you dare even think about stealing a thing." I said.
"Oh come on! I'll take something very little and they won't even notice!" He exclaimed.
"This is my best friends friends house and I'm not letting you steal anything under my watch." I said.
"Well I guess you wont ever look away from me." He said with a wink and my face turned red.
"I-I... I didn't mean it like that! Stop changing up my words!" I exclaimed and Travis just laughed.
"I'm just teasing you. The only thing I want to steal right now is your heart." Come on." He said with a grin.
"I'll take that as a challenge. I won't dare let you steal my heart." I said with a smirk.
"Let's see about that." Travis said as we walked through the house.
I checked the clock to see that it was 2:38 pm. It's been quite a while since we've been here.
Travis and I walked around the place and decided to go outside since there wasn't much to do inside.
We decided not to go too far out, and just sat on the porch and chatted while enjoying the relaxing view.
There was a very small river, and there was some crops growing with fences around them. There was a tree as well that seemed perfect for climbing. The sun wasn't too hot, but perfectly warm as it shined on us.
As we were chatting, I stared at the tree as nostalgia of my castle coming back. There was this one tree that Garroth and I would always climb, but the maids and guards would always find us before we could reach the top.
I stood up and walked over to the tree.
"What are you doing?" Travis asked me.
"I'm going to climb the tree. What else would I be doing?"
"It's too dangerous for a princess."
"Psh this is nothing! Don't underestimate me!" I exclaimed as I went over to the tree and started to climb. I swiftly climbed the tree and reached the top.
"Dinner's ready!" Garroth said peeping his head out the door.
"Okay!" Travis and I said as I climbed down but I slipped and as I fell, I reached for a branch but I missed and went falling to the ground. I braced myself for impact but I didn't hit the floor.
"You know." I heard a voice say and I opened my eyes.
"You may fall from the sky, you may fall from a tree, but the best way to fall... is for me." He said and since I was taken off guard I blushed a bright red and I quickly turned away in an attempt to hide it.
We stayed there for a bit. "Put me down." I mumbled after a while and Travis smiled as he put me down.
"Come on. Let's go eat dinner." Travis said as he started to walk inside and I followed him.

We all ate dinner together and talked, but after a while I got tired and decided to go sleep. Laurance showed me my room and showed Travis his room. They were beside each other.
"Good night my princess." Travis said to me and I smirked.
He's done enough today. Now it's my turn. If he could tease me, I could tease him. "Good night... My knight." I said with a small wave as I saw Travis blush and I tried to contain my laughter because now he was the one who was being flustered!
"Y-Y-you..." He said standing there frozen as I walked in my room and went to sleep.
