After they had packed up their campsite, it was time to depart. Rin assumed they would hike as they normally did. However, as she untied Ah-Uhn, she felt strong arms encircle her from behind. She giggled softly, and leaned back to look up at her lord. From her perspective, Sesshomaru was upside down, gazing down at her. His silver hair fell down in tendrils around her like a curtain.

"We will fly."

She simply nodded, soaking in his affection for her. She felt his arms tighten around her waist, and to her delight, he hoisted her onto Ah-Uhn's saddle. From her new vantage point, her Lord was below her. He swung himself onto the saddle as well, surprising Rin. She had never seen the bird demon carry two adults, let alone fly with two. She worried for the demon, but remembered that Ah-Uhn hadn't flown in several weeks.

Rin was pulled out of her worries by the large warmth and presence of her Lord behind her. She could feel his body pressed against hers, and all the rough outlines of his armor. When he leaned forward to grab the reigns, her hips rotated so her crotch was pressed hard into the saddle. His arms came around her shoulders to reach the worn leather strips that controlled Ah-Uhn.

"Hold on."

He said this in a tone both gentle and commanding. She trusted her Lord, and gripped the saddle as the bird demon began to gallop increasingly fast. Suddenly, they took to the skies, coasting over the treetops. Rin had flown many times before, but it never failed to steal her breath.

Most of the ride was a blur to Rin, mostly because her Lord's legs were in the stirrups, meaning her legs were left dangling. All her weight rested on her waist, which was pressed against her Lord's. She realized that once again, she wanted her Lord. She remembered the way he made her body gush last night, how he felt inside her, the way he gazed at her...

"We are almost there."

She blushed, embarrassed she was daydreaming again.

"Yes, M'lord."

She watched the valleys pass below, the way the rivers traced the land like veins. As Sesshomaru pulled back on the reigns, she noticed the way veins cross hatched his arms. She looked up as they began to lower into a cleared space in the trees. She saw a partially grown over stone path that led into the forest. They came in for a slow landing, and she was shocked to feel one of Sesshomaru's arms wrap around her waist as Ah-Uhn's feet hit the runway.

As the bird demon galloped into the forest, Sesshomaru kept his arm encircling Rin's torso. She could feel it underneath her breasts, and she felt heavy and weak suddenly.

"C'mon Rin, pull yourself together."

She scolded herself mentally, peering forward at hints of grey in the foliage. A few seconds later, they emerged in another clearing, however this time Rin found herself in awe.

The large castle that emerged in front of her was truly a sight to see. The cobblestone path led up to two weathered, high arching doors painted a crimson red. Large windows covered the sides of the castles. There appeared to be three floors in the castle, and through a window she spied a fireplace on the top level. Gargoyles were perched atop the roof, they looked similar to Sesshomaru in his demon form. The top of the castle had two flags that matched the lavender of her Lord's crescent.

Ah-Uhn trotted to a slow halt before the doors. She shook her head, a few stay feathers floated to the ground. Rin heard a metallic click, and she looked up to see the red door creak open. She watched wide eyed, feeling Sesshomaru dismount behind her. An old man stepped out from behind the doors. He wore a royal blue kimono shirt and black pants. His gray hair was in a topknot, and he appeared even older than Kaede.
