16. Just like her mother

Those big brown eyes
"Exhausted at such a young age, but still kind just like her mother's", they all said

Those thick long eyelashes
"They hold so much strength. Naturally pitch black and as long as the Mississippi river, just like her mother's"

Her eyebrows
"So black like charcoal and thin like her patience just like her mother's"

Her arms and small hands
"Her arms hold so much strength and her hands are hard and rough; so manly just like her mother's"

"Although her face is silky and smooth, it has dried tears glued to it and her forehead a scar that has found a home right in the middle of her forehead, not leaving any time soon, unlike her mother's face"

"Her plump lips are begging to be utilised perhaps to borrow a kiss or to speak out. She was meant to have her mother's voice and her free lips voicing out her thoughts"

"She was supposed to be a complete facsimile of her mother. She was supposed to be ready to conquer the world, fighting actively just like her mother.
Poor daughter of her mother, she must have had a glitch in the process of becoming just like her mother."

Okay so since I'm kind of an insomniac, I wrote this poem in the middle of the night and I'm hoping that it makes sense to you guys just as much as it makes sense to me...kinda. I don't really know how I came to write this poem. Although somewhere somehow it kinda relates to me. Hope you all enjoy it😜
Oh and...HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I wish you all the best this year😛
