Chapiter 03

A week after that the boys kept working really hard on their performance, and it was finally there the day of the gig, I went to Cal's house to check on him. As usual I rang the bell and his adorable mom opens the door for me "Good morning Mrs. Hood is Calum here?" "Hi sweetie yes he is in the living room  watching tv come inside" she said stepping away from the door creating just enough space for me to enter " thank you " I said while throwing my feet inside the house, walking a few steps i make it to the living room where Cal was sitting on the couch watching tv  and his sister Mali also sitting on the couch with her laptop " Hey guys" Cal turned his head then greeted me with his aodrable smile and a warm hug ," Hey linds thank god you came" Mali followed " oh really why ?" I said with a confused but smiling expression on my face, Mali moved closer to me while holding her laptop with one hand and pointing to Calum with the other one "Mali stop it "said Calum a bit embarassed sounding like he wanted to stop her from saying whatever she ws about to , I started to laugh but deep inside  my heart skipped a beat what if his sister was going to tell me " he's falling in love with some girl" or even worst "he's going out with one"  however I kept a smile on my face even though  my knees felt somewhat  shaky and weak "What's  up with him?" I said trying to make my voice as confident as possible "she came closer to my ear and whispered "he doesn't like to admit it but he's really nervous for tonight you should have seen him walking in his room back and forth like a physco" "Mali what the heck are you saying I said stop don't you have like some girl stuff to do?" Mali looked at Calum and raised an eyebrow with an annoyed look on her face and without breaking the eye contact with him she continued "Please Lindsay do something with that boy he's hopeless" as she sighed then looked at me with a bright adorable smile  and went out of the room , when I turned to see Calum he was blushing and rubbing the back of his neck we both looked at each other and brust out laughing , I was so glad it wasn't anything related to girls so I started to make fun of Calum " So ya feeling nervous heeeein ? haha I know you're crazy but walking in the room back and forth I mean c'mon what's next you're gonna talk to the walls hahaha" he playfully pushed me and  went back on the couch " stop making fun of me" he said obviously holding back from laughing , I went closer to him but instead of sitting on the couch I stood right behind him and said "Hello Calum my name is Wall number one but you can call me Wally I want to be friends with you can I ?" he started to laugh so hard " haha stop it linds"  I moved and stood right in front of him " Can I ? Can I ? Can I ?"  getting closer to his face each time I said it " No you can't " said Calum while laughing " aww you hurt my feelings " I said making a sad face "you're a wall you'll get over that haha" "No I won't Wally is hurt , Wally is going to go make friends with Mali" I said still having that sad expression on face , then suddenly he grabbed me from my waist and pulled me to where he was sitting and started to tickle me "okay you got it I'm gonna be friends with you Wally" I couldn't even speak because of the laughter , " hahaha stop it Cal please haha " "Oh where is Wally ? is he gone" " Hahaha Cal please c'mon haha" His mom suddenly entered the living room and Calum immediately stopped . Silence was filling the room I was so embarrassed but Cal's mum smiled at us and said "I'm sorry kids I just came here to take a plate and I'll go" and that's what she did , so after she went out I glared at him " oh my god I told you to stop see that was so embarrassing Claum" he tapped my shoulder and smiled at me " whatever it's fine , I mean it want well " I rolled up my eyes and sighed , Calum took the remote back and turned up the volume of the tv , my hand approached his and I took the remote off his hands " Hey ! What are you doing" I turned off the tv "Lindsay!" "Let's hang out " "What?" "C'mon it's the best way for you to be perfectly relaxed before the show tonight" I said as I grabbed his hand and made him stand up "You know what You're right let's go" .

We both got out of the house and went to our favorite ice cream shop , we sat on a table and ordered a big amount of ice cream in a big shared bowl . Suddenly Calum takes a little bit of ice cream and he puts it on my nose " oh you're not gonna get away with that Calum Hood" I say as I take my revenge and put a lot of ice cream all over his nose and mouth " hey that's not fair " he says as he takes a big spoon  of ice cream and puts it almost all over my face , we both started to laugh very loudly at how our faces look even though everyone was staring at us " Let's take a selfie " " yeah why not  I mean look at how gorgeous we look especially now that you've ruined my make up thanks by the way Calum" " you're very welcome haha plus you're much prettier natural" he said as he kept looking into my eyes , I blushed and didn't know what to say " c'mon get in the selfie linds" so we both put our heads close to each other stick out tongs out " perfect" said calum while looking at his phone , I kept admiring how cute he was , after we finished we cleaned our faces , when we were paying the lady that works there smiled at us and said " what a cute couple that makes of you two , each time you come to the shop it's like you light up this place " oh my gosh that was one hell of an awkward moment I was so embarrassed I couldn't stop blushing and I kept looking away but when finally my eyes landed on Cal I could tell he was very embarrassed too , he could have told the lady that we were just friends like he did with the girl at the cinema but he didn't that made me feel so happy .

After we got out of the shop we went to the beach and sat on the sand admiring the waves and the sky's reflection on the water enjoying the silence , now fortunately for us there wasn't too much people , to be honest there was like 10 people around maximum "You were right Lindsay , now I don't feel nervous at all I'm actually really excited to go on that stage and give all what I've got" he said while smiling at me I smiled back " I'm very proud of you Cal , and I'm sure the boys and you are gonna be awesome" " you know Lindsay I got to admit that like every time I'm with you I'm in a whole other world" " what do you mean" "" you know when I'm like with the family and the boys I'm in a world but when I'm with you I feel like I'm in a whole other one it's like we have our own world" my heart melted as I heard these words and I felt such a sweet warm feeling in my stomach , "I just realized that I feel the same too " I said while looking to the sky " we have our own world" I said "yep" he agreed  while lying on the sand . I suddenly start laughing "what makes you laugh ?" " haha nothing it's just you're in a punk rock band and you just spent 1 or 2 hours with your best friend playing with ice creams and taking selfies with it all over your face " "haha well okay I might be in a another version of punk rock like a cooler one" " haha because eating ice cream is cooler than smoking weed " "Hell yeah it's the new trend haha " "you're such an idiot haha" . We sat there for another like half an hour and then got back home "Thanks linds I had a lot of fun" said Calum while hugging me "anytime for you Cal" I said while hugging back "so what are you gonna do now?" " I gotta to go for the last sound check in like an hour maybe and you know get everything prepared for tonight " "okay well then I'll see you tonight good luck and please tell the boys not to stress too alright, share your non-stressed attitude with them ha" "I will haha last hug before I go ?" "yeah sure come here" we both hugged each other really tight and then let go , Calum hit the road and I went back home preparing myself for tonight.

So I took a shower and curled my hair , I decided to wear a mint crop stop with high waisted shorts and a beige daytime southern vest with sandals that were the same color and I added a flower crown , After getting ready it was time to go . The gig was fabulous; the boys played brilliantly Calum couldn't keep his eyes of me which felt kinda bizarre. So after the whole concert was over I went to see the boys backstage they kept complimenting me which made me blush as usual, We had a lot of fun chatting and stuff they were glad the gig was over now. At the end of the day everyone got back home very satisfied of their day. Calum thanked me for this day that we spent together and I even got a kiss on the cheek this time " Good night beautiful" he said as I waved at him and each one of us went to their houses and closed the doors .
