Chapiter 11

Chapiter 11 : 

A Few months flew by after the party ,  Calum had to travel a lot and for long but his career was growing bigger and i felt blessed to see the happiness he was expressing because of that , the excitement he had to perform with his band mates , those sparkles in his eyes when he was performing it was clear that he was doing somehting he loved . Today was a very special day for us for two main reasons the first one is that the guys have been nominated for an award show in America ( Which Calum invited me to so i flew there yesterday ) , the second thing is our 6th month anniversary i bought calum one hell of a sick bass it was amazing and i didn't even know how to play it but i heard him talk about it a few times . Next day when i rolled over the side the bed was empty , i frawned but then a smile was quickly drawn upon my features as i see calum getting out of the shower towel around his waist , few water drops drooling on his torso and legs , i push myself off the bed and walk over to him " good morning " i say in a very happily Calum turned around and half smiled " morning ! did you sleep well ?" " like a baby haha" i say stretching out my arms and body " what about you boo ?" "i slept well i guess " he said not very convinced " what's wrong baby ?" " oh nothing just a bit nervous for the show" he said faking a smile, something was wrong with him but i felt like he kept avoiding it , i didn't want to push him to say it maybe he would come and tell me what's going on by himself so i kinda left the story on a side .

After that we had a breakfast , and then we went out to buy my dress i wanted him to help me choose it , i did everything to spend a nice day with him and help him relax i kept trying to send him all those positive vibes , but it didn't seemed like he received anything he kept being all shady , checking his phone way more than he should have , faking smiles almost like he was being forced , it was quite heartbreaking to be honest . Even though i wanted to hang out with him more i just had to put an end at this he didn't seem to enjoy anything . On our way home , we both sat in the car wit ha heavy silence taking over the ambiance so i decieded to speak up" Calum ?" i said as he nodded his head towards me keeping his eyes locked on the road " Cal please tell me what's going on ?" " nothing really " he said finally landing his eyes on me , eyes that said the total opposit of the words he was letting out , i sighed then spoke up once more " Calum i know you're not okay" "I'm good linds there is nothing going on really what makes you think that ?" " Are you kidding ? look at you Calum you've been acting all cold, distant , shady it's like you don't even want to hang out with me " "No what no !....i- i'm just tired i guess " I didn't even want to keep the conversation going , i know Calum if something was wrong he would tell me but clearly he doesn't want to and even though it offended me that he was hiding stuff from me i just swallowed everything and did not want to say anything it was a big day today after all i don't want us to fight or stuff like that " okay... fine " i responded .

When we got home a few moments later , Calum had to go to see the lads , so i picked up my phone and decided to call Ines , a couple of times after the phone rang she picked up " Hey Linds What's up?  " "Hey , Nothing much just chilling hours before the show" " I can't wait to watch you guys oh my god Cal and you are gonna look so gorgeous on the red carpet Plus it's your anniversary oh lord this is perfect " "Speaking of Cal ..." ".... what ? oh my gosh is everything okay ?" " Hum not really " " What happened ?" " Here's the thing i feel like Calum is hiding something from me and i tried to figure out but he doesnt wanna say anything " " awww how cute " " What?" " Can't you see ?" "see What Ines ?" " It's so obvious Lindsay he's preparing something for the anniversary of course he won't tell you he wants to keep it as a surprise " " Really ?!" "Yeaaah it's so obvious Linds " " Well i don't know no i don't think it is a surprise otherwise he would be like excited about it and happy i know him now he's just sad and cold and it feels like he's guilty of something like i don't know i feel like it's negative " "Nah i don't think so listen girl don't think like that im sure it's all positives just take it easy and im sure tonight is gonna be epiiiic i can't wait What did you get him by the way ?" " Remember that bass he's been talking about , and he told Luke that whenever he gets the time he will buy it ?" " No way !" " Yes way haha " " Oh my god he' is gonna fly over to cloud nine " " i hope so haha and i got him this cute little cake i made yesterday i kept it hidden from him " " awww this is so aodrable can't wait to see what he got you " " yeah me too i just hope that i'm guessing wrong and that he's finally gonna tell me what's going on " "Don't worry he will good luck with tonight " "Thank's" i say as i hung up.

Couple of hours later we got ready then headed to the award show, all the lads were looking fantastic Calum still had that serious expression on his face Michael who was siting on my right saw me looking at him with a worried stare " you okay ?" he whispered " Not really Mihael" i whispered back "something is wrong with Calum don't you think so ?" i quickly followed " now that we are speaking of this he has been acting strange a while ago now " he responded " Really how long ?" i asked him "i would say at least a month " " i've been talking to him but never really noticed damn " the car sttoped as soon as i finished the sentence , i held Calum's hand as i smiled to him and he did too , while steping out of the car , flashing under the lights of loads of  photographers , paparazzies and fans i held Calum's hand tighter , we made our way on the red carpet he didn't hold my hand any tighter like he used to do , i kept a smile on my face but in my head all what i have been talking about with Ines hits me if he's been acting like that a month ago now , it sure was not about any surprise or gift . We posed for a little while to take pictures having flashbacks of how Calum had been acting the whole day, then we got in Where the show was about to start we took places . After a few songs and artists that came along to present and give awards the lads won the awards they have been nominated , i shed a tear i was so proud of them .

After the fantastic show , it was time to leave we didn't go to the after party because we had something else to celebrate , before we left i asked one of the security guards to bring me the gifts i got and hide them in the car, We then  drove to an amazing dinner in a romantic garden after i gave Calum the gifts which finally made me smile a real smile and feel real happiness for somewhat five to ten minuts he pressed his lips against mine quickly instead of giving me that sweet passionate kiss , the seriousness quickly made it's way back ,He wrapped an amazing shiny diamond necklase around my nack  Which honestly made my day because it was beyond beautiful but I  didn't want any gift from him but seeing him happy and being with him that night " Calum i'm begging please tell me what's going on , It's tearing me apart " Calum sighed a big one then lifted his head a sad look on his face , his big brown eyes met mine " Lindsay ...... I have something to tell you ..."
