Kehlani's POV

I was so excited to have my show later tonight . It's been a little while since I've hit the stage. I have the house all to myself. Lauren just left to Chicago, Y/n lives in Chicago now, it's just me here.

I decide to call a good friend of mine.

Calling Toushai 👀🔥...

" Hello?"
" Hey shai"
" Hi babe"
" So I have a show in LA in I really would love if you showed up"
" Lauren won't be there right? "
" No she's on her way to Chicago right now"
" Oh ok good. I don't wanna have to beat your wife's ass"
" Aha shush. But you'll be there right?"
" Yeah as long as I get to go home with you"
" We can make that happen"
" Alright I'll see you. Just send me the info"
" Kk. I love you"
" I love you too Lani"

I hang up falling back on my bed. I bite my lip just thinking about Toushai. I decide to get my shit ready before the gang scoops me up to head to venue.

Mal's POV

I was hanging with some friends in DC before my flight out. I kept thinking about Y/n. I miss her so much.

I decided to go to the gym before finishing my packing up. I see someone that looks super familiar. It was rose.

I tried to just ignore her and continue working out but she spotted me and came over.

" Hey Mal. Is it ok if we talk?" She asks and I just smile and nod. We head outside and sit. " What's up?" I ask.

" I'm pretty sure you know this but I really like you. Ever since our little thing, I haven't been able to move on. It's like you put me in a trance. " I just nod motioning her to continue.

" Was that a one time thing? I really like you. I want to maybe give us a shot." I just stare at her. " You're joking right? That was a one time thing. I'm sorry. I'm in love with Y/n. I can't do this with you."

I stand up and walk back inside before she says anything else to me. I know I probably just broke the lake ghosts heart but, that's not my problem.

I went home finishing up my packing and head off to the airport.

Kehlani's POV

The show ended and I couldn't wait to get off stage. I ran off taking off my equipment. I see Toushai on the side talking to Ed.

As I'm walking over to her Noodz grabs me. " Lani don't do anything stupid that you'll regret later. This stuff behind Lauren's back is going too far."

" Look, don't worry. I'll be fine. Lauren is on a plane to Chicago right now. She won't be home so Toushai and I have time to mess around. We know what we're going. And with a girl like her, I don't regret a thing. "

I wink and walk away. I grab toushai's hand and we head out to the car. As soon as we arrive back to my place I attach my lips to her. She carried me up to my rom laying me on my bed and i couldn't wait to strip her out of her clothes.

Lauren's POV

I can't believe I forgot my bag. I was heading back to my house. Luckily I had time to burn. I should be able to make it back to the airport before my plane leaves.

I unlock the door to my house and it's unusually quiet. Maybe Kehlani went out after her show. As I get closer to the stairs I start to hear something.

Please don't let this be what I think it is. I know Y/n isn't home. I get closer to my bedroom door and my heart breaks. Lani's moans filled the room. My eyes began to water.
