I felt like a zombie in the morning I had no energy what's so ever and I am very tired. I'm currently on the bench leaning on Mal while everyone else scrimmages.

"Come on Baby you have to play" Mal says"I'mtired" i mumble on her neck"Are we ever going to tell the public we're together?" I ask herShe looks at me, "i would love to but we should give them hints, not completely come out yet""I'm up for that" I tell her"Okay Varsity you're going against JV but they will have different players along the whole scrimmage to see how they play" Coach Diaz announces

"IM NOT READY YET" Nicki yells and I just laugh at her but I notice I'm not ready either. I give Mal a quick peck and rush to the locker room so I can change into my uniform."Yo what color pre wrap do you have?" Danna asks me"The color I'm not sharing with you" i joke while I throw the pink pre wrap at her.

"Here" Nicki says while giving me her cleat and I give her mine our lucky "charm". We walk out together and start warming up. Coach wanted us to play like we play in a real game to see how the JV girls deal with it, until he tells us to play easy we're going to play hard.

"Okay ladies two lines for warm ups" Isabelle tells everyone.After everyone warms up I see Alex with her cleats and a jersey on. "Are you playing too?" I ask, "Yes I'm helping out JV" she responds. I just nod

"Well you look hot" Mal states, I roll my eyes at her bluntness. She kisses me on the cheek and tells me good luck. I run on the field and fix my pre wrap before yelling "TEAM HUDDLE".

"Alright so Alex is playing against us which might be either easy or hard considering she does play for the USWNT but might be easy considering she is the only one" I say in one breath.

"DIAMONDS ON THREE...ONE...TWO....THREE....DIAMONDS!" We all yell.

The first half was eventful, it was for us but not so much for the others. We scored three goals against them but we still had time. We heard the whistle blow signaling the start of the second half. Nothing really happened expect us winning the game.

"I beat you" I told Alex, she just smiled at me and said "you really are my daughter" which made me happy. I looked at the sideline and made eye contact with Mal who gave me a wink which made me melt.

We were still on the field screwing around because the try outs weren't over even after a game but it was only 30 minutes. "Holy shit she cant be back" I hear Nicki say, I look at her confused, I look at my other teammates and seeing them with their jaws clenched and shocked faces.

I finally look up to see who was causing all of this and I was completely shocked. Nadine Alvarez my first girlfriend and heartbreak. "Look who decided to come back after leaving the team" Isabelle's voice was filling with poison. "I'm coming back so you can forget that ever happened" Nadine spat back.

I couldn't move or speak I was completely shocked she came back after breaking my heart and leaving for a long time. "Nice to see you Jauregui, still looking good" Nadine smirks while checking me out. I noticed Mallory was standing next to me this whole time, I have explaining to do.

"I wish I could say the same Alvarez but I can't" I say"Oh why not? Don't you miss all those fun times we had together?" She states"I really don't based on you cheating on me and breaking my heart after I gave you everything. So you can either fuck off and forget about joining the team or don't even dare to talk to me during this season it just in general. I can make sure you don't make this team if you continue to say shit, because remember I am the captain and I make sure the team is at its best. So Nadine please do us all a favor and tone your shit down to a zero" I snap

I just watch her eyes widen in surprise. I hear her mumble a sorry while she walks away. "I'll see you guys next week at school love you guys" I tell the team while hugging them individually.

AT HOME

"I was going to beat that girl up for saying that for you" Alex rants"What happened?" Kehlani and Lauren ask at the same time."Guess who's back.Nadine is""No fucking way she isn't!" Kehlani says I can see the anger in her eyes"What did that bitch say to you baby" Lauren asksAfter I explain everything they just told me to stay away from her. "You know you're mine right and I would never cheat on you with someone else. I've never liked someone as much as you Y/N" Mal tells me. Welp that made me emotional I give her a passionate kiss.What a day it was.
