Chapter 60

Y/n's POV

Graduation is getting closer and I'm drowning in all the activities I have to do. I was at the airport waiting for my flight. Jessie is going to be in Canada while I'm in Portland.

" Here Babe." Jessie hands me my coffee and sits with me. " You're really forcing Alex to go to Portland with you after Orlando just lost to them?" I smile and nod.

" She said she'll be with me in Portland she's just not coming with me to the stadium. I'm all alone. Well, I have Tobin." Jessie nods and they call her flight.

We stand up and I latch onto her. " I love you so much." She says as I hug her. " I'll see you when you come back from Portland." I nod. I capture her lips and we can't keep the kiss lasting too long.

" I love you so much Jessie." She pecks my lips. " I love you more." She heads on to her plane and soon after my flight arrives.

Time Skip

I landed in Portland last night and ubered to Tobin's house. Alex was too lazy to come get me. We were headed to the stadium right now and I got super excited.

Mark met me with Sinclair and Allie as I arrived with Tobin. I got to sit around and talk to the players and they shared their experiences playing with Portland and their journey to becoming NWSL Champions.

" So y/n we know you're with Jessie Fleming from Canada who's that?" Horan asks. I roll my eyes. " It's cool she's amazing" all the girls seem so invested in what I had to say. " Dating a rival. Canadian kid." Tobin says. Sinclair slaps her arm.

" I forgot you were Canadian" She says defending herself resulting in us all laughing. " Ok be honest, have you ever had a crush on any of the women on the national team before you reunited with Alex?"

My face flushed. " Horan do I have to answer?" Everyone nods. " It wasn't your mom was it?!" Tobin asks and everyone waits for my answer assuming it's her. " Eww no."

I take a breathe and mumble who it was. " It was Tobin." I say not looking at her. " Louder." Tobin says. " no." She pouts. "Oh my gosh. It was Tobin." I say and everyone laughs.

" Aww I know I'm attractive." Tobin says hugging me. I roll my eyes and mark tells us to change for scrimmage. I was on a team with Tobin and of course we won. Tobin was captain against Allie's team.
