Chapter 34

It was the next day and we were all at practice once again. It was now Friday so it's going to be a chill practice.Mal was sitting in bleachers waiting for me so she wouldn't be alone at the house.We were testing JV's accuracy on goal to see how good they really are.

"Okay you Y/n go up" Coach says. "I'm not on JV though" I say putting my head on Nicki's shoulder."I know I just want them to see how you shoot" Coach says passing the ball to me.

"Left or right foot" I ask"Which ever one you want" he answersI line up the ball and shoot with my right watching it hit the back of the net. "Can we do corners please" Lizette asks smirking."You're trying to fuck JV over aren't you" Danna asks smiling at her.

"If they're trying to be like us then they gotta do corners" Lizette answers"Okay we can do corners"Coach says oblivious to why."I call kicking first" I yell sprinting to the corner while dribbling the ball.

"Okay Varsity go up first and JV block players" Coach tells us. I see everyone go in their place. I see Nicki's hand giving me a signal meaning she wants the ball, I give her a slight nod.I lift up my arm signaling I'm taking the corner and I see JV trying to block the Varsity girls. I kick it to Nicki who successfully heads it into the back of the net.

After taking corners Coach said practice was over making everyone cheer. We all change to our regular clothes and I go up to Mal sitting on her lap while the team just sits around and talks."Alright bitches party at my house at 10. Be there. Mal You're invited too" Izzy says walking away."Do you want to go?" I ask Mal turning my head to look at her.

"Yeah seems like fun" She answers kissing me.We all go back to our houses and get ready to go to the party. I change into a crop top and ripped black jeans. "You're going in that?" Mal asks with hungry eyes."Yeah why, do I look bad?" I look in the mirror."No baby you look hot. I just don't want anyone to hit on you that's all." Mal says wrapping her arms around me.

"Okay then let's go then" I pull her out of the room."Mom please take care of Franklin, it's really not hard but he is tiny so don't lose him" I say to Lauren"Honey I took care of you I'm pretty sure I can handle this cute little guy" Lauren carries Franklin and kisses him.

AT THE PARTY

Almost the whole team is here, well varsity team not JV. Nadine came for some reason why wasn't even at practice today. Ever since she told me about her feelings she hasn't stopped staring at me making Mal really mad.

"Danna get off me or I will smack you" A drunk Lizette pushes Danna off making her slam into Becca."Are you drunk baby?"Mal asks making me look up and grin."I think so" I ask feeling buzzed"I can tell your eyes get glassy and your cheeks get red also you get really clingy" Mal answers.

I lay my head on her chest closing looking around the room seeing many unfamiliar faces then seeing a face that looked like Kehlani.We all make our way to the couches where Kehlani's twin was at.

I decided to be bold and talk to her."Hi I'm Y/n you seem chill" I simply say sitting on Mal's lap while she talks to Becca."Well Hello to you too I'm Toushai" she says smiling brightly at me. I've heard that name before I just don't remember where right now."You seem oddly familiar" I continue the conversation while playing with Mal's hands.

"Aren't you Kehlani's kid" she asks"Yep that's me" I say smiling"That's pretty cool" she says and we just talk about our life's not carrying if we barley know each other.Nicki started to get invested to the conversation after she's noticed that I'm talking to Toushai."Can we sleep over" Lizette asks."Who is we" Mal responds"Well look at you answering for your girlfriend" Becca says playfully.

"We as in me,Becca,Nicki and Danna" Lizette answers"Sure why not" I say before Mal Can say no"I'm tired let's go yeah?" Becca suggests making all of us nod."Nice meeting you Y/N, if you need a tattoo hit me up" Toushai tells me giving me a hug and I just nod.

"Guys lets go to Target" Nicki says randomly"No you guys aren't going to Target it's late plus you all are drunk" Mal protests"Baby please" I pout at her making her sigh and mutter an okay.We finally got out of target and arrived at my house after arguing on what we were getting.

For some odd reason I got a tiny hay bail cause I thought it was cute."That's literally the worst purchases I have ever seen in my life" Lizette reasons out."A hay bail?" I ask"No,You know what's the worst purchase?" Nicki asks.

"Louisiana the French never should of given it up" I say making everyone laugh."I love you so much" Mal says in between laughs kissing my cheek. I watch Danna pick up my child and carrying him." We're allgoing to be fucked up tomorrow for practice." Becca says putting her head down on my bed.

"Wait we have practice tomorrow" Nicki asks."Not really we just have to be there to help or support JV as Coach's reason on why we should be there" Becca says rolling her eyes making everyone expect Mal groan.

I throw them two air mattresses so they can start blowing them up. We all finally get settled in to fall asleep. Franklin takes up a corner of my pillow while I place my head in the crook of Mal's neck."Stop breathing on me" I hear Danna whine smacking Lizette.

"Shut the hell up before I smack both of you." Nicki whisper yells at them.Finally it was all quiet and I let sleep take over me.
