It's still Christmas
Alex handed Lily a small box.
Alex: It's not wrapped cause....I'm not really good with that stuff, but whatever.
Lily chuckled and opened a small box. There was a ring inside the box, a simple ring with no jewels.
Lily: Wow, it's beautiful.
Alex: I didn't steal it I promise.
Lily chuckled again and gave Alex a hug.
Lily: Thank you so much- wait, this isn't a proposal right?
Alex: No, it's a promise ring. I want you to promise me that we'll never be apart.
Lily: Of course, we'll always be friends.
Alex frowned at the word friends.
Lily: Are you okay?
Alex: Yea, it's just that you've been calling us friends since 5 months ago and we've gotten to know each other so...
Lily: So you want to be more than friends?
Alex:....maybe.
Lily laughed as Alex pouted.
Lily: So do I.
Alex smiled like a goof and gave Lily a long kiss.
Alex: I've got another gift.
Lily looked confused as Alex handed her an envelope. She shook the envelope.
Lily: Is there a gift card in here?
Alex: Yea it's 50 cents off of an actual Christmas card.
Lily got the joke and laughed, then opened the envelope. There was a card inside that read "It's a girl!" She looked to Alex and gave her a hug.
Lily: Oh my god it's a girl?!
Alex: Oh no did I get the wrong card?
Lily laughed again and hugged Alex tighter.
Lily: Now I can buy her things, and get her dresses, oh my god we have to paint the nursery!
Alex: Calm down first time dad.
Lily: Hey I'm her second mom, I can be happy.
Alex laughed and the two shared a nice kiss.
Lily: Merry Christmas.
Alex: Merry Christmas.
Whoop there it is! Lol. Merry late Christmas humans!
